Looks like TPTB are all planning a world war, because it's time for another one.

If all the elite get together and agree then it's propaganda time to stir the herd, followed by planned catalyst tragedies to get the war going.

If no one reacts, war will not happen.

A UK battle group will take part in a major military training exercise with other NATO forces to “reassure” allies in Eastern Europe during a period of heightened regional tensions, the Foreign Office has announced.

In the biggest commitment to the region since 2008, the UK’s full battle group will comprise of 1,350 personnel and more than 350 armored and other vehicles.

Speaking during a visit to Warsaw with UK Foreign Secretary Philip Hammond, Defense Secretary Michael Fallon said Exercise Black Eagle was one of a series of planned NATO maneuvers due to take place throughout the autumn in support of its allies in Eastern Europe and the Baltic states

Seems some people can't see the wood for the trees.

This is it. The big showdown.... slowly slowly all coming together.

Another day, another World War III thread.

Look at past ATS threads over the last 10 years. There are tons of WWIII predictions, and they've all failed.

It looks like some sort of containment's in effect.

This is comforting......

Considering the monthly variation in wind parameters, the likely bounding values of 50 percent and 80 percent fission fraction, and the likely bounding values of residential and multi-story sheltering, we find that the casualties resulting from MAO-NF (Major Attack Option - Nuclear Force) would be between 11 and 17 million people, including between 8 and 12 million fatalities

It is the same conflict as was being discussed ten years ago. Some would argue it started on 911 and some before in the Balkans. But world war three is already here. List the amount of countries affected by war.

This is just the point where it really starts to pick up speed. The rest have been proxy wars. This is shaping up to be a direct confrontation between super powers.

Can you honestly say that based on where things are at internationally, that these recent events are comparable to the past 10 years? I'm hoping that the WWIII threads are all just a bunch of hoopla, but I'm not sure about it this time. Things seems to be ramping up - sadly.

The only thing that's being 'ramped up' is the rhetoric and saber rattling in the controlled media, and the two-bit Armageddonism in the alt media.

A tiny Western power clique need a WWIII to avoid being politically defeated. They won't get it. They're not even in control of most of their weapons systems.

They will be foiled again and again, like the cartoon villians they are.

how about the unprecedented military build up and economic warfare ??? That stuff seems to be ramping up to a state not seen for a very very long time.

Look to the middle east as well. I would say you are being overly optimistic and are very under-informed of the totality of the situation

What do you expect?

It’s the American government and central bankers, again!

Look at history, WW1, America behind it, WW2, America behind it. WW3 America will be behind it.

What get’s to me is that the European leaders, absolute Sociopaths that they are, fall for it! We don’t need America, no European country needs America. Putin isn’t a Saint, but Russia and EU has a good solid relationship that benefits both. Without it, Russia’s economy is doomed, EU energy supply goes spiralling. America doesn’t like the relationship that Europe has with Russia, America wants Russia to go spiralling and who cares if Europe goes down the pan, who cares if millions die. Just like North Africa and Middle East, Asia who cares? It’s all part of America’s ruthless agenda to maintain geopolitical hegemony. I’m sorry, I like Americans, but your government, and past for the last 100 years, if not more, have reigned havoc and terror on the world’s populace by means of all out war, militarily and economically and war by proxy. American infiltration to install degenerative culture and destroy Europe socially and culturally, has done nothing but sent Europe in to nose dive and divided populations more so than perhaps at any point in our history post Roman Empire.

If anyone has a country to fear, it is absolutely America. The problem America has is what goes around, comes around. The world is increasingly turning against America, in every way. Economically, through ditching US dollar use, turning from degenerative American culture, cursing American regressive society. My concern has never been Russia, China or even the Islamic world, its been a giant that at some point in the not too distant future, will be in its death throes. How that dying giant reacts could be the difference between the Human race remaining and total extinction.

War may come to Europe, but before the end, it will come to America too.

You got one thing right "central bankers", they are not synonymous to the USA either. The world cartel are spread throughout the world, and concentrated in two continents North American and Europe.

The US government is merely a puppet for large corporations and the world banking system.

People need to stop pointing fingers and understand the entire picture.

The world cartel did this by forming the Federal Reserve in the USA back in the early 1900's, but make no mistake many of them are from Europe, and even Russia. A great factual video for those that wish to understand.

How is this even possible? What I mean is, two major powers with however many thousands of nukes, likely to pull in the rest of the world's powers... I mean that is WW3. How is that possible to play out and have anything worth salvaging left? Is it possible to have a meeting beforehand on agreed upon terms of warfare, as in no nukes, everything else game on?

Look what the US did when it wasn't even about to be defeated, rather just didn't want it dragging out too long. They DID drop the bombs in the last WW. How can we expect not for a losing power to throw out whatever they got?

The only way someone could want this is if they have an out, and that out does not exist on this planet. . .

One person close to Mr Putin said the Yukos ruling was insignificant in light of the bigger geopolitical stand-off over Ukraine. “There is a war coming in Europe,” he said. “Do you really think this matters?”

The history of Europe is one long history of various countries trying to take over one another through war. To say "There is a war coming in Europe" is almost like saying "The sun will rise tomorrow."

The chatter for world war is higher than I've seen in a very long time.

Most of the time, it is just chatter about World War.

This time, there are things happening that seem to be pushing us in that direction and we are stalling when it comes to Ukraine and some Middle-East issues. But more keeps on happening, like the MH17 downed plane.

Remember when Romney called Russia America's greatest geopolitical foe? Obama's response was, "The 1980's are calling and they want their foreign policy back because the Cold War's been over for 20 years".

How's that working out for you Obama?

Yeaaaa but Romney didn't say that out of some sort of wisdom based on experience. He really did say that because ideologically, he's stuck in the Reagan era.

US is also not immune to ICBMs but it will cry the loudest when hit with one. Don't think that you will be enjoying your fast food on CNN when such a mess spews out. The mess which is the creation of the glorious USA.

Btw, Kerry is saying that Kiev Junta is calling for cease fire as they cannot handle the fight in well fortified cities and with more heavy weapons rolling in. Also, defections are high in Kiev Army and funds are really low.

"Terrorism", through supporting raticals, or economical means is the only way to attack a country now-a-days.
All out war will never happen between two super powers. Any established country attacking another (ie. US -> Russia, or Russia -> US) would provoke a retaliation that neither country is willing to risk, and nukes are completely off the table. The one thing everyone forgets to account for in their war theories, are the prevalence of nuclear power plants throughout the world. Any substantial attack from bombing, nuking, or emp'ing would result in reactor damage/meltdowns causing massive amounts of radioactive waste to spew into the sky, blowing around the world, and back to their own country. Invading seems to be the only option, but with todays tech and militaries.... nearly impossible.

why nuke a country when you can destroy it economically first then morally and at the end exploit it for oil and gas later... ?
