After the resignation of Tom Ridge, President Bush has nominated an NYC Police Commissioner as Secretary Of Homeland Security. With an impressive
"hands on" history, Bernard Kerik should be a viable replacement.

President Bush today nominated former New York City Police Commissioner Bernard Kerik to take over as secretary of homeland security. Bush called
Kerik a "dedicated, innovative reformer who insists on getting results." Kerik led the New York City Police Department through the terrorist attacks
of September 11, 2001.

After reading the article about Bernard Kerik, I was impressed with his history. I respect those that are "hands on". I have a high respect level for
Rudy Guiliani as well, and the fact that they are business partners speaks volumes in my opinion. I would hope that George W Bush actually did find a
viable replacement.
