Think that CCW permit holder is a safe individual? Maybe not:

1% more guns = 0.5 - 0.9% more gun related suicides.

What about the rate of suicide in general? Are you trying to say that suicide rates in general go up because of guns, or just gun related suicide? What about all the thousands of other says to commit suicide? Any data on that?

Nope, but i did my own research and it appears suicide rates in general have stayed pretty much the same (actually went down a tiny bit over the last 10 years). This means that the people in the article you linked are just finding other ways to off themselves.

So that article is irrelevant, thanks for the attempt though.

If you've been paying attention, there IS a lot of people lying dead in the streets.

And most of them are in Chicago, New Orleans, Memphis and Detroit.

How are the gun laws there?

I am guessing that he didn't scamper off to the nearest gun shop to buy one!
Sorry, but I would have laughed at him when he was trying to stop the bleeding with target paper.

I would wager he did not.

My friend and I still get a good laugh about this meathead years later.

Seriously, if you're jealous i can train you how to detail cars. Good money in it, fresh air, lots of sun satisfaction of a job well done.

You can burn off some of that excess anger too!

Guns are specifically designed to kill. They by design cannot in any way create, only destroy.

Try again.

Nope wrong again...

Firearms are designed to fire a projectile at a target of the user's choosing. If I fire at a target the bullet does not magically curve to kill the nearest person.

This post is at best bad trolling and at worst an ignorant attempt to prove an uneducated persons view.

Oh, and guns DO create....

They create a freezer full of meat for my family twice a year.

They already got means, and motive, they're just missing opportunity.

Why else would someone feel the need to own a gun?

I guess I should be arrested for vehicular homicide since I have the means and motive.

I do own a truck.

Guess I am just waiting for the opportunity.......?

There once was a man named Butcher

So, how about this?

Interesting.

How come when the shooter entered the classroom and started "randomly" shooting people he only shot at the one guy carrying the firearm? It was a set up to fail from the start and prove a point kind of like you are but like your post their video is a huge fail also. Wearing extra long shirts, gloves, masks on their faces and the "bad guy" knew exactly who was carrying.

Real life the shooter wouldn't know who was carrying the firearm....very, very poor choice of "proof" to your ignorant claims.

I think he should pass, seems it didn't help you burn off that excessive anger......

And the job obviously doesn't make you any smarter.

I would skip on the offer bud..

Ok, this was fun for awhile, I'm done now.

You can't educate a troll only keep him busy for awhile.

It's kinda fun discussing with him but it's old now.

I sure will be glad when summer break is over, these 13 year old kids are starting to annoy me.

See you guys at the range.

If you tally the numbers from your source, it comes out to be 1356 incidents.

I took the first 15 states from this source from July 2012: Number of CCW Licenses in Each State.

The tally from the first 15 states come out to be 2,958,988.

So out of millions of concealed carry permit holders, there are a handful in comparison, that have been involved in reported incidents.

Seems like there are an extremely few reported incidents involving CCDW License holders.

I won't come down on the OP for working at a car wash. As long as he is happy (although he doesn't seem to be) with it, that's ok with me.

I will come down on him for his anti-2nd views though.

HauntWok -

Is there anyone or any group that you do deem safe individuals with guns?

If so, what makes them safe?

not only that they placed them up front dead center the classroom. how come they put them up in the back corners.
if they were up in the back corners they would have more time to react.

My firearms have helped to create many of meals.

Again, your anti-2nd bias is pretty disgusting.

How about we talk about the amount of people that have been killed due to Progressives in charge of Govts?

You would need a supercomputer to accomplish such a feat. Only a rich progressive liberal living behind guarded gates, security systems and armed guards want to take away your guns, the rest will be the first to be stepped on when they are caught without one, once the tyrannical forces start.

Suicide is often a spur of the moment decision, and a gun facilitates this, usually with no option to back out afterward.
