Each night, to help me get to sleep, I try to work out how a Planet Of The Apes could actually come about.
So far I have 3 possibly likely scenarios and 37 highly unlikely ones.
Can you do better?

That would be cheating. All I'll say is that 21 of them involve dolphins.

GMO corn triggers regressive genes, rapidly making all who consume it give birth to apes.

On a side note, a zombie ape movie could be really cool. But it would need to be like a mix of that and Rambo.
