Was talking about tea in another thread and I was wondering if any tea lovers in here have any quotes or poems that they would like to share.

"It's not that I don't know, I really don't want to know, because I don't care about evaluating teas. Tea is tea. But each tea has its own character and properties. What is the purpose of grading ? These many teas are grown in nature, all of them. Is there a discernable difference ?"

As an US citizen living in the south, I usually stick with our traditional form: Ice cold sweet tea. Not too sweet though, some put so much sugar in it it tastes like syrup, ick. Nothing more refreshing in the heat of summer, except a nice cold cerveza.

Not much beats a nice warm green tea in my opinion, but more of a black coffee drinker for my caffeine fix.

Or, sometimes the old beatnik/jazz slang usage for "tea."

Paul Morgan: You know what I did to the last man who called me that? I stole his crumpet."

Revolutions Tea makes a really solid Lavender. I typically despise lavender...but this is outstanding. Among the best. All their teas are oustanding, save for their chai.

"I am a hardened and shameless tea drinker, who for twenty years diluted his meals with only the infusion of the plant; who with tea amused the evening, with tea solaced the midnight and with tea welcomed the morning."

Tea = Love!

“Yes, that's it! Said the Hatter with a sigh, it's always tea time.”

“Take some more tea," the March Hare said to Alice, very earnestly.
"I've had nothing yet," Alice replied in an offended tone, "so I can't take more."
"You mean you can't take less," said the Hatter: "it's very easy to take more than nothing."
"Nobody asked your opinion," said Alice.”
