I have seen members from The U.S. post on ATS threads the saying " I could care less"

STOP

The correct saying is " I couldn't care less"

www.worldwidewords.org...

Rant over.

Where exactly are you from?

My avtar may give you a clue

True but I am not up on the worlds military uniforms...the face looks very French movie heroish.

Point of order.

I believe it's actually pronounced ˈkôfē orˈkäfē.

"I could care less" isn't wrong, exactly; just misused.

For example, if I were to be gifted a burrito by my wife, I might jump up and down and shout with glee. In that case, I really really "could care less".

My biggest pet peeve is people that get "weary" and "wary" mixed up. I see it not only in forums and comments, but hear it in commercials and TV. Once you are aware of it, you start seeing it everywhere.

WEARY - tired, fatigued, exhausted

WARY - cautious, careful, on the lookout for trouble

That's hilarious.

After an evening of passion which seemed like a dream turned reality, I lay there spent and wary.
