The AN-94 in the picture you linked is a RUSSIAN assault rifle.

The British use the SA80.

These are the weapons the SAS use (no russian ones):

SAS can use whatever they please
In this case, AN94.

Why would a Russian wear a BRITISH FLAG on BRITISH CAMO, whilst ESCORTING OCSE?

I agree this is an unlikely match... Just for the jet's relatively low ceiling. But the jet can go a little faster than a 777. Only possibility is that the airliner would have gone down 10000 feet over Ukraine.

The SU-25 sure is no dogfighter, but a commercial airliner is an obvious sitting duck if at the reach of ANY armed fighter jet.

DONETSK, Ukraine, July 22 (Reuters) - A senior separatist leader, Aleksander Borodai, handed over two black boxes from an airliner downed over eastern Ukraine to Malaysian experts in the city of Donetsk in the early hours of Tuesday.
SOurce

So now they have the black box. So much for the alleged coverup.

The jet could have been in front on an intercept course.

Wonder what pressure America will put on Malaysia

This is perfect for Putin, all this infomration comming out back firing on Ukraine/US et al. That is what he wants, and he has got it.

Now, somebody will need to keep a hawk eye on those black boxes in Malaysian hands.

I though everyone has satellites watching just about every square inch of the planet and certainly this area...should they not know exactly what happened?

Rumours are, that they didn't give it to ICAO because there were 2 experts from the US and 1 from UK.

What will Malaysia do with it, though...

Imagine the screams if they take it to Moscow.

There should be experts from all countries involved and independant (if that is indeed possible).

I wouldnt want it in US/UK hands either.

Even if that has cast a bit of light of hope for me for independent investigation, i don't really have a lot of it... It's not all over yet.

I think it backs Russia's information up, and goes badly for American so called information.

I have seen nobody blame the Russian People.

However, your leader and ours have lost all credibility.

Nobody has clean hands here.

I am willing to wait for unbiased investigation.

Are you ?

just look at the Russian media and western media. They pretty much synch. The only difference is that one side is blaming the other.

I think Putin lost control of his minions.

With one hand he is the World diplomat, with the other hand, he keeps doing what he really wants.

By the way, new Russian guys, your Big Board has DEAD PIXELS:

Implying that the russians are providing false information is blaming them. The american news has been blaming them since the plane went down. The people in this thread are using the same claims without a shred of proof to say the evidence russia provides is false. Those are accusations. Don't know what you have been reading. You got any facts you want to add or are you just jumping on the disinfo bandwagon?

Why you and others like you are ignoring these questions:

Where are the recordings from Kiev aerial traffic control?

why it's taking so long to listen to that recordings?

Well I can answer those right now...I have no idea?

What makes you think I have heard them or even know much about them because I don't...Sorry.

Aren't they essential to determinate the conversations between the pilot and control, before, during and after the change on the flight route to the conflict zone?

Why we immediately ear from Ukraine "secret services" the rebels conversation instead of Kiev Aerial Traffic control?

Why these kind of questions aren't asked on the media?

Yes they are, but until they release those tapes I have nothing to say about them.

Now that's something you would have to discuss with the Ukraine secret service.

Another question I really can't answer...but that is a good question.
