The Heavens,
Are sundered,
As lighting tears the skies again,
This fury,
Unending,
Once more my vision split in twain,
Friction,
Releasing,
Torrents of rain and electrostatic pain!

Standing out in the torrent,
Washed fresh by the hand of the sky,
Beaten clean by a fist of rain,
And watching as the Heavens,
Do their best to make us die!

Pressure,
Is rising,
Another front is moving in,
Thunder,
Insanity,
Nearer grows the glorious din,
Beauty,
And majesty,
Expressed in vast cascades,

From bottom to top,
I will watch the hammer drop,
And love every second till the deluge stops.

I'm glad you think so Night Star. I questioned whether the slight asymmetry in the rhyme structure would be too jarring to work out, so I am relieved that you enjoyed it!

You've got a talent there buddy! Reads very nicely.

I only wish I had something more meaningful to add.
edit on 7/21/2014 by 3n19m470 because: I originally had a part that said "kinda short sweet and to the point". It's actually not That short, so I thought that to say so would negate the amount of thought that went into it.
