I am still checking on this but it looks the co pilot on this flight was the originally scheduled co-pilot for MH370, but took leave for illness, and the co-pilot the day that MH370 went missing, was put in as a replacement.

That is freaky. Was he close to retirement and someone didn't want to pay out his pension?

This isn't true - a cursory glance at Flightradar24.com shows many flights going over conflict zones.

For example, right now, Middle East Airlines MEA1422 has just passed right over Syria, passing just south of Homs where there is heavy fighting, not to mention the plethora of flights now going over ISIS controlled regions in Iraq, or the many flights going over the tribal regions of Pakistan or Afghanistan.

Not really. MA has a total fleet of 91 aircraft of several types and pilots won't be certified for all types (as they vary from 777's to A380's), so it seems likely that as both flights were 777's, they drew from a pool of qualified pilots which isn't going to that big. The chances of a pilot pulling out of flight 370 and ending up on flight 17 4 months later is going to be reasonably high as there is probably only a couple of dozen pilots in total.

Some of the population has a mentality of a criminal biker gang. If one American is hurt, they all want to rush over and dish out some aggro.

You're kidding?

Are you seriously saying that while people of conscience and feeling will feel sympathy for any of the victims, whatever their nationality, they won't feel more attached to their own country folk?

Of course we feel the impact of tragedy greater when it's our own people while still empathising and sympathising with those of other countries..that goes without saying, and it's more than naive to pretend it isn't so.

Because they are behind the overthrow of the originally democratically elected leader of the Ukraine, they had balckwater their, they had the CIA in the Ukraine. They want to take down Russia which will leave china isolated which can be dealt with later.

With Russia they get the oil pipeline and they can use that to screw Europe in continuing to use the US dollar as a reserve currenncy. The US is everywhere there is trouble.
