The Marines yells "Hoo Rah!"
The Army yells "Hoo Ahh!"
What does the Navy yell?

We have no need of yelling we allow the Marines to do so on our behalf after all they work for us.
We don't care what the Army yells.
And the Air force don't yell at all..

Well they do squeal like little girls on perdiem check day.

MY service was about you, bud. I wanted to make a difference in the world. Make it better for people.

I was lucky enough to be able to do that through my service. The people I've helped will always remember it. I will always remember the good things I've done. Don't try to generalize everything, man.

Is this grade school?

My forefathers would be ashamed at the cowardice of this military.

Obviously, they recognize a problem. In response, they turn their backs? Be sure not to queef during your next 180, guys.

They told you it was for us. You were brainwashed. It is part of basic training.

It was for the corporate state. Plain and simple. You served for the American empire. No way of life in danger here, just threats to profit margins.

I'll even give slack to Vietnam and Korea vets, most of them were drafted and didn't have a choice.

Our latest wars? Corporate greed only.

You are not the first to feel that way, nor will you be the last.

Does that give you the right to dishonor vets? Do you feel better doing that? Says a lot about your character, buddy. Nothing good, I promise you.

Oh, I'm sorry, did I misunderstand the definition of the word Honorable?

Let's see:

hon·or·a·ble
[on-er-uh-buhl] Show IPA
adjective
1.
in accordance with or characterized by principles of honor; upright: They were all honorable men.
2.
of high rank, dignity, or distinction; noble, illustrious, or distinguished.
3.
worthy of honor and high respect; estimable; creditable.
4.
bringing honor or credit; consistent with honor.
5.
( initial capital letter )
a.
(used as a title of respect for certain ranking government officials.)
b.
British . (used as a title of courtesy for children of peers ranking below a marquis.) Abbreviation: Hon.

dictionary.reference.com...

Nope, don't see the "served in the military makes a person automatically" mentioned in that list of definitions.

But do you know what pisses me off the most about this?

Here we have a group with an obvious agenda, parading out vets in order to give their cause any credibility whatsoever. And we are supposed to just fall in line behind this organization because they have enlisted veterans into their cause?

To buy a gun made in Russia, the purchase of which will support the Russian military in their war with the Ukraine? And I'M dishonoring vets? Really?

I mean seriously? We are supposed to fall in line and support this just because they march out some vets for the cause? How pathetic is that? Doesn't anyone use any critical thinking out there anymore? Just because a group of vets are for supporting Russia's war with the Ukraine and want to fund this by buying Russian made weapons we are all supposed to lock step in behind them?

So sorry, just because a person has served in the military, it doesn't automatically make them honorable, and it doesn't mean that their actions are justified either. Don't try and give me a guilt trip because our all volunteer military more often than not acts like spoiled brats who don't get their way. It's BS.

First off: Your remarks are made regarding all vets, painted with a wide brush. You are not specifically addressing any individual, just vets in general. This is pretty clear even though you keep tossing in the "buy american" as though that excuses your remarks.

Secondly: if you think that all ak's are made in Russia, you are sadly mistaken and you seem to think that this is the only reason that vets protest Obama...which is patently wrong. I owned an ak-47 made in a former eastern bloc country.

Third: Why the focus on the ak 47s with a vehemence that is totally exaggerated beyond all reason? Your attitude suggests much is left unspoken. Your derision towards vets suggests much much more. This is not about whether they want to bring home ak's but rather some other deep seated hatred you have.

Lastly, no one ever said you had to support this protest. No one. You have the right to disagree. You also have the right to be an outright jackass as well, and you are exercising that right repeatedly. Says much of your character, or lack thereof.

First, there are no heroes in the military, you are only as good as the worst of your ranks.

Second i know very well not all aks are made in Russia, but the ones that are currently banned by Obama through executive order are the ones made in Russia and the reason for this protest.

Third, don't psychoanalyze me, you don't know me at all.

Fourth, don't feed me crap and call it candy. Don't call me a jackass for pointing out what a huge pile of garbage this protest was.

The US currently has sanctions going against Russia, post of those sanctions is the banning of imported Russian aks, this is the only reason this group was protesting. I don't care if they have vets doing the protest, it's a scam. It's an excuse to disrespect the president for a petty issue. Especially because for some reason they want to help fund this war in the Ukraine.

And you think I'm in the wrong here? Stop with the blind faith and blind respect for vets. Open your eyes and see what the reality is. I am sure you wouldn't support vets if they were stumping for NAMBLA, why support them for this jackassary?

There's your problem...you seem to think Service Members act on their own accord. Are you just pretending to go full retard, here, or is this really your assessment of how the military works? If it's real, you have zero credibility in this argument. But, you're amusing to read, regardless. If your goal is to be taken seriously, quit talking out of your azz and bring some facts in lieu of ideological opinions.

He thinks we are ALL mercs who fight for cash because we have been altered to do so.

No, I've never served in the military.

I've never killed anyone period, somehow you think you're special because you have? It's base human nature to destroy. You aren't the first one to kill because you were told to.

Tell me, do you carry a torch for those whose life you ended? Or do you understand that it was part of the job. Either them or you, and they wouldn't be sad of they took you out. So why any remorse at all? They knew what they were getting into. No need for you to condemn yourself for them not being smart enough to run away.

Just human nature after all.

No, he didn't say any of that. What they have suggest is that you haven't a clue what you are talking about.

Thanks for clearing that up, my tongue had a bit venom earlier. So quick to label me he/she was, lol

I've just about had it with vets.

Bunch of socialist moochers the lot of em.

Free health care, free money, free housing, free free free.

Sick of pandering to these losers, you did a job, you were paid for that job, you knew the risks going in. We don't owe them a thing.

And don't talk to me about them protecting our freedom, the last war that was true was WWII those vets deserve respect.

Rest of em are just moochers and socialists.

"Free"?!?!?!?!? What a crock!

Military service members offer their lives, literally. Huge sacrifices are made, with hard work and long hours for very crappy pay, and very little real benefits. Let me give you a clue, since you seem to be without one. After more than twenty years in service, multiple deployments, days running from 15-24 hours, tons of time away from family, inadequate health care, more stress than the average working person can fathom, my career soldier husband makes around 40K a year. "Free"?

I can't say to you what I'd like to say to you. I could make a gesture, but what's the point?

One day, I hope you see reality, and come to understand, in a personal sense, exactly what it is that has been done for you, that you clearly don't appreciate. Be sure, please, if TSHTF, that you make it known you don't want veterans helping you or your family. When they protect you anyway, maybe you'll get a clue.

As a soldier that is very offensive. Have you had friends killed while working at Mcdonalds which is where you probably work. We don't get paid a lot and the few perks are our benefits. Have you spent over a year from your family? Yes it was a choice only because so few were available. Your comment was unintelligent and had no valid remarks. Unemployment is at an all time high so to support my family I had to join the army. I'm deployed now. It sucks but I'm taking care of my family. I signed a contract guaranteeing me my benefits while I'm in and when I get out. Which is going to be sooner than planned because they're cutting 120,000 of us out next year which will flood the job market so it will be harder to get a job.
All that being said what have you done for your country? Perhaps you should take your aggression to the politicians because a congressman gets paid $170,000 every year for life and free healthcare. Think before you speak/type.

Joke or not that was very ignorant of you.

Well said. I don't think he was "joking", either. What was said was exactly what was meant.

Ah, well, what goes around comes around.

Did you volunteer?

Ok, then what's the problem? Go get your gi Bill, go to college, get an education.

Have i spent a year away from my family? I'm 38, been on my own since i was 17, got a job, finished high school, git married, divorced and now i have sole custody of my son. I don't get crap from the government, and because I'm a man in Florida the state refuses to go after his mom for child support.

Yeah you got it so rough.

That didn't answer the question. Did your job take you away from your family for a year or more, and send you into a combat zone? You still have no clue.

As for the child support thing, that isn't accurate. My daughter is divorced in Florida, and my ex-son-in-law has primary custody of the kids. She pays him child support, even though she has them some of the time. Florida most certainly does make women pay as well. If you haven't had that taken care of, you need to take some action. The state is very serious about that these days. It's based on income, of course, but they can and do make women pay it as well. That I KNOW.

As for military, you have NO IDEA what it's like. Maybe instead of making foolish assumptions, you should actually talk to military people and their families.

Veterans demanding benefits which were promised isn't wrong, any more than you'd be wrong for demanding your employer paid what was promised to you. It's clear from your later responses, too, that the initial one from you wasn't a "joke".
