This is not how an international plane crash is handled. Unless you want to cover up something.

The problem here is that USA and Ukraine are only engaged in propaganda and threats while Europeans seem helpless in following the USA.

Who is responsible Government there? It is Ukraine government. So you should ask the question what is Ukraine government doing?

If Russia send its men, then you will ask why Russians are over there!

What resources are available with so called DNR?

It is squarely the responsibility of Kiev.

A baby is helpless, nations that fear retaliation from the US are pussies.

If only OSCE were able to investigate without separatists blocking them from doing their work.

This is the crux of the matter, why are they blocking, what do they have to hide? Are they just being pig headed (look we have guns), or are in fact responsible [sic] and are worried about the implications. I would say they are in enough trouble as it is, and this course of action will not help the cause.

There is no agency in the world that operates that fast. Even in a war zone. Just getting the word to the heads of the airlines would take two to three days, and then another day for word to spread to crews. And that's if it was sent out same day, which wouldn't happen. It probably took longer than three days just for them to get word about the July 14th incident.

It takes longer than three days for word to get spread, and for an agency like ICAO to act. On the day of the shootdown alone over fifty flights operated over the Ukraine, and all told several hundred went over just in those three days.

The news was posted on CNN on the 15th.

These Airlines have noone monitoring the news of the volatile areas they fly across every day? The pilot himself is not the least bit interested?

A lot of people involved, had to have known by the 17th.

So you would say there was contact and that the Ukrainian air traffic controllers and the pilots of the plane were all aware that they were going to fly over the warzone?

Yes as plenty of other aircraft have already flown over that area before, this has been pointed out by many others.

You are the one defending the the actions of the rebels. Other countries, neutral, should have been let in. The rebels say no.

Except when an agency has a tapped phone call admitting the shootdown. Then, agencies only need a couple of hours to make sure everybody sees it.

Yes they do and they post any advisories, policy changes on their website. They also send this information to other airlines and agencies so they can advise customers of such changes.

Thank you in this aweful time. I am sick over this whole affair from the first triple 7 going down to this, and all the fighting and wars, just sick I tell you! AND all we know is that over/under 600 people are dead, GOD Bless the families and help them find peace and comfort.

How is it possible in an active war zone.

Which neutral countries?

I would like to see how many actually flew over the Seperatist-held area.
