The poverty of the Palestinians in Gaza is in stark stark contrast to the millionaire members of Hamas.

They skim off the top from anything that enters Gaza, through tunnels, ships, land routes through Egypt. Then they do not reinvest into the local economy for the benefit of the people but buy into Dubai, Qatar, or other Arab localities.
They run a mini Mafia empire, and distract everyone with the specter of Israel which they poke with missiles from time to time to remind the sheep like population who to hate lest they learn the truth who is keeping them from prosperity.
The population of Gaza is the perfect front to make a few men rich.

Like I said in another thread. I'm almost convinced Hamas is run by israel or infiltrated at the top by them. No one benefits from anything they do but Israel and the few running hamas. How convenient they fire 600 rockets that kill one person while their city is destroyed. Surely they know their rockets suck and aren't killing anyone. They are just getting people killed and providing the pretext for Israel to bomb them.

Arafat was worth a billion when he died most went to the Palestinian authority from there who knows,he squandered about 4 billion during the Oslo peace process,now instead of a head honcho theres dozens of warlords.

The Arab street needs a boogieman or they will have an Arab Spring moment and kick the bums, in this case Hamas, out violently. If the boogieman is sleeping they poke it from time to time with a rocket stick.

They blew up their own power grid lines with a rocket into Israel and now 70,000 + people in Gaza suffer from no electricity. Hamas don't care though because it is more reason to hate at Israel instead of them. The poorly educated poverty stricken people will be told Israel shut it off.

Yeah a lot of people would have said the same thing about the U.S. and Al-Qaeda after 9/11. What makes you think that the Mossad...one of the most devious intelligence services in all of the world.....wouldn't have some sort of operative in Hamas? Hamas doesn't benefit by getting it's people killed. They aren't defending anyone. Defense means you stop harm from occuring, not egg it on. No one benefits from any of this but Israel. Everytime Hamas sets off rockets the Israelis kill more people and take more land. This is FACT.
