That's why they have supervisors. People learn from their mistakes.
If bosses fired employees for not knowing something, no one would have jobs.

As you get older you find there are things that you think should know but don't.
My biggest pet peeve is spelling, punctuation and word choices in these forums.
These are things you should have known from early school.

Embellishing stories is not as bad as creating them lies out of whole cloth . . . as is too often the case.

The oligarchy has used the MSM as their personal propaganda machine since at least 1915, 1917 when they bought out the major newspapers.

I suspect embellishing is a common feature to some lesser or greater degree.

However, given the terminal levels of stupidity that keep cropping up with alarming frequency far and wide . . .

I think most of us . . . even with PhD's and sometimes particularly with some types of PhD's . . . typically make spelling and other English errors.

English is a terribly complex language with tons of exceptions to most rules, garnered from a diversity of parent languages. And it's soooooo far from spelled phonetically that expecting most folks to remember good spelling is a hope infutility. It's reasonable for even educated folks to make SOME English errors.

However, given the text form of online forums . . . one would HOPE that EVENTUALLY folks could tell the difference between

"are" vs "our" vs "hour"

and

"They're," vs "their" vs "there."

Too often it seems like a lot of ATSers are about as bright about such simple English errors as the TSA bloke was about D.C.

Clearly our educational system is doing everything under the sun but educating properly.

I guess they have to spend too much time teaching

--kindergartners where to poke what in same sex partners;

--how to say Muslim prayers but face expulsion for saying anything about Jesus;

--how to turn in their classmates for biting their bread into the form of a gun;

--how to pledge to "Mother Earth" and curse the USA;

--how to pledge allegiance to communalism and curse individual initiative, responsibility and creativity.
