Right on, my thoughts as well.

There have been some recent articles foreshadowing this, but I was hesitant to believe it would happen. In my opinion, if the IRS does get an overhaul in the near future it will not fare well for the tax payers. God help us all if the Dems hold the next presidential election. At least as far as this whole issue goes.

I believe that the IRS, if left intact as an entity, will continue to function as a political tool for whatever party is in power.
There needs to be another 9.8 billion dollars cut from the proposed budget.... leaving them with nothing.

Yeah Its time the IRS learns what the military has learned for decades.

Their jobs aren't forever.

If any government agency needs their funds cut it's the IRS.

Screw the jobs. Why should this government entity continue to operate (poorly) while making the same errors year in, year out?

Now I'd like to see it gutted by another 50%. I'll happily deal with any unforeseen consequences!

The Internal Revenue Service paid up to $13.6 billion in bogus claims for the Earned Income Tax Credit last year and as much as $132.6 billion over the past decade, according to an internal audit that already has some members of Congress questioning how the agency will be able to administer Obamacare.

The problem is .... Have you ever heard of a non-military federal employee losing their job unless they do something that hits the press. They just get transferred to another redundant agency. !60,000 just to manage Obamacare @ how many dollars a year?

Go to work, clock in and watch porn, be drunk on the job, or even be a tax cheat and become the boss... A little over the top but heavy on the little part.
