Why are we unloved on ATS.

OK, so the title is to pull you in to the thread.

I do not apologies for this, not one bit.

Now, just hit reply, you know you want to and while you are there, have a look at the emoticons.

We have all sorts of happy, sad, and angry emoticons.

We have 'get on the mods good side', 'Drink beer, 'blow crap up' and even a stop sign.

Sadly, we do not have even a single little emoticon for LOVE

Not one, nor do we have one for expressing care of our fellow humans.

Is there no room on ATS for a little love, no means to express our concern for a fellow poster.

This needs to be rectified.

A nice heart, a broken heart, a heart with an arrow through it. Even a little candle would be good.

Right now we cannot express with emoticons any of the emotions dealing with love in any of its myriad of forms.

So let us have a little chit chat about this state of affairs.

You are quite right - I have kept all of the old-school ones and bust out a few now and again, none of which really express anything like these ones.......



But, it's also interesting that ATS had/has no shortage of emoticons dealing with fury, anger and frustration......like these little beauties.....









Man, I really miss the old emoticons - imo, they just suited certain situations better....especially this little beauty...

Can you see the hearts I put in?

Might be nice to have some nice ones but what if someone is a creeper doing it too much and it's unwanted?
It's not a dating room here and some might take it the wrong way.

Or there's those who just ooze with love and it gets on your nerves.


I agree we should have nice ones like 💐 🌷 flowers.
Maybe I'm just grumpy.

Hey I was just saying, I wish I had a lot more love in my life as well, perhaps what you are seeing is some kind of result of a large population in a lack of love. I dont know, I do know though that I didnt come to ATS to find love, just information and for some reason I keep running into strange screen names ( sorry I am not privvy to CPU terms since aim) and they actually build pictures like the term "growing on me" Love doesnt got nothing to do with whats going on here, its a phenomenon thats been alive for a long time
