Greetings .

I came across this photo and it made me feel good
so I wanted share it with you folks here at ATS.

UNFORTUNATELY I am struggling to find the right forum to put it in . so I'll leave it here for now until the mods find a proper home for this thread. Besides it is a sort of education right ?
.

So how did this pic make you feel ?

Your thoughts

Humbly

Another thing is that the upper class didn't want to be caught smiling or laughing as it was associated with an idiot or someone childish. In Mark Twain's words,

“A photograph is a most important document, and there is nothing more damning to go down to posterity than a silly, foolish smile caught and fixed forever.”

I remember I looked into this after watching "A million ways to die in the west."

(Funny movie btw)

It makes me realize that the heart of a person hasn't changed. That real love has no embarrassing moments, and so much can be said without a word spoken. In three short seconds I feel it's what everyone in life really wants.

I feel like the two bottom pictures are not from that time. Since, I am use to seeing the stern look on old pictures. Neat. thanks

Just my impression, but it looks like Hubby was goofing around a little, trying to catch his shy wife laughing in the picture.

Great photos. They made me feel like, at the core, people aren't any different than they used to be.

The world has certainly changed, but maybe the people really haven't.

I know they are real. It just gives the surreal impression, like those things were not permitted in those days.
