The rules for this thread are very simple... Post a digital art pic of your choosing. It can be of anything, just as long as it's of the digital art variety...

I'll start things off with two images:

I don't know if it's my favorite, but this is my current background:

It was created by artist Yang Yongliang. Sleepless Wonderland

I'm thinking about switching over to something from this series: From the New World

(and yes, Colossal is my favorite art blog
)

Is video considered digital art? Or is film making considered a separate thing altogether?

Thanks, It's a parody drama. Scripted, rehearsed, and filmed.

Replied to mark the thread. I have some digital art I've made myself, and would like to show it off

OK, no worries but you are missing out on some great films, with great acting, production value and most of all some great stories.

In fact all film making is now digital from the SDHC cards that hold the media to the editing programs like digital Adobe premiere or final cut. Even the script writing is done on a digital program.

This sequence from the film "Renegade" is pure genius. I have never seen the visual imaginings of one who has ingested alkyloids represented with this level of accuracy.

Nice Work!

How long did it take to do the last image? Seems like it must have took a while, with that many stars...

Well done
