the Army is activeng soilders that served their time in Veitnam. some of these guys are almost 60 most are over 50. they have kids and grandkids. these guys have done their part and were discharged. so is the U.S Army si inneed of soilders that they will put "dad" and "grandpa" into combat?

Do you have any links or something to back this up. If indeed true it is a sad day when veterans who have served their country honourably and are now retired or near retirement are forced back into service to fight this illegal war of Bushs'

After reading the story via the link you provided, you can see that your statement is a little misleading...


Army National Guard 1st Sgt. Paul Dunlap, 53, a Marine Corp. Vietnam veteran and current signal specialist in the reserves, talks inside his country kitchen with his wife, Mary, at his side in Pleasant Unity, Pa., on Tuesday, about being called up to active duty.


He is being called up because he is in the reserves, not because he is a vet. Reserves are just that, in reserve in case they are needed. Due to the situation in Iraq, more soldiers are needed, so reserves are being called up. Nothing new here.
