This is a parody not actual event or news, many news medias has been fooled this to be actual news.

All I see is a video in an Asian language with people playing soccer.

Unless we can get proof that that is what is said on the video, I am thinking this is just Western Propaganda in much the same vain as the Uncle that got killed by 100 hungry dogs or the other bit of silliness about using mortars to execute people.

Anyone have any real proof. Why are all of the numbers backwards?

why is everything inverted in the video, it made my head hurts.

Good to know they humiliate Japan 7-0 but spare china with just a 2-0

It looks like stock footage with a voice over added , mention North Korea and people will believe anything.

The North Korean people know they're not in the World Cup

You're sure of that?

I remember listening to North Korean english language radio back in the 80's when I worked in Alaska. It was incredible, some of the stuff they were putting on the air...

I wish I could have recorded them. Priceless comedy.

I can only imagine what they're telling their own people...who have little or no other sources of information. That's not so comedic.

This instance? I don't know. True or not, it wouldn't overly surprise me.

You're sure of that?

Yes , the video I posted shows that plus....

There is also the small issue that, despite North Korea’s infamous media censorship, North Korean television channels are actually broadcasting World Cup matches, albeit sometimes 24 hours after the games have taken place. While in this case the video is clearly a fake, the North Korea government has been known in the past to bend the truth when it comes to sports.
Youtube users duped

Apparently you are.

That's reallly kind of odd, if you think about it... NoKo is so closed off, why would they show the world cup? Just giving the prollies ideas that they shouldn't be having.

Obvious fake is obvious.

Why do you think it is reversed? To fool the automatic copyright scans which would reveal the true source of the footage on YouTube.

This should be in the "jokes and pranks" section.

And today the guy who made it revealed that it was fake.
Made by a brazilian blog, here's the post where he tells the story of how that happened: www.naosalvo.com.br...

Funny how many of the newspapers published it only based on a youtube video.
