Clueless... IT was a less contentious time...

Always enjoyed taking a night off of the never ending tug of war, and just enjoy some music and friends...

It was a weekly relief from the status quo...

Someday perhaps.. we can all take some time to ENJOY life and set aside the burrs in the collective saddle?

I won't say no, but I have no clue on what direction ATS is going...

By today’s standards. Pretty straightforward. Broadcast software that points to the IP of a livestream. For a studio panel we used Skype and Virtual Audio Cable to pipe the Skype call to SAM Broadcast (very pricy professional broadcast software but other options exist now that may be cheaper). After hours of tweaking and testing (or what seemed like months) you are on the air.

I did play around with a free Mac broadcast program to a computer on a LAN, way back when this was getting figured out. Figured the SAM setup was better all around and I didn’t have the bandwidth to host.

Jack knows more details how it works as I think he helped write the book internet radio.

That would be a conversation for the owners. ATS itself is their intellectual property. There was a reason that the survival show had a very different title from the other shows.

If you ever checked Facebook, you would have seen pictures of a recent raccoon interaction. Critter dug in an old flower pot, tracked dirt, wiped his hands on the storm door leaving dirt streaks and then went to the cat’s water bowl to clean his hands leaving muddy silt in the bowl. Called the series of picture CSI: Preble County.

I want this to happen. Let me know if there's some way for me to help. And avoiding legal issues with ATS IP would be pretty easy as long as you don't affiliate their brand with your podcast.

ETA: I just saw the DB broadcast post.... Not (necessarily) what I was referring to.

Free to do your own show. Just saying they get a little protective on the ATS name.

Without a studio (Skype conference call) things become infinitely easier to do. Essentially it is a live podcast recording. Or if you would rather have editing powers, broadcast a prerecord podcast. But doing stuff live like we did is still a bit of a rare bird.

And yes Jack, miss it too brother.

What would the format look like, out of curiosity? Would it be like an open join Skype thing, or like a few select people? Live, or edited? What would you want to do?
