Hello mods

I get a error whenever I try to post on ATSNN. Part of new code change?

"You have an error in your SQL syntax. Check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '1102013860|surfup', '0', '0', 'surfup', '', '', '','5','25','5'

The above is the error I got last night when I tried to submit a news article.

I have noticed this error when I included a single quote, ( ' ) in the title of my submission.

Or maybe it was the double quote ( " ).

It was one of them, and unfourtunately I can't remember which one it is right now.

THe quotes are special characters in the SQL language and are most likely the source of your error.

Thanks buddy, it was single quote. The title had a single quote in it, so I guess I got the error.

I probably submitted the article four times already. Wheww.

I bet you there will be some guy pressing the submit button thousand times and this getting this same error.

Some people you can never change.

No problem Sauron. I usually try to remember when I screw up, and how I fixed it. Cause I know if I mucked it up, someone else probably will too.
