Ah, but your topic here is Sarah.

ETA: My dad can beat up your dad.

And ?

Going to state the obvious here but Palin critics are FAR from the mental giants they claim themselves to be.

I expect as much from a group of people who purports themselves as the party of 'tolerance, sympathy, compassion'.

What I think you're missing here, Neo, is that Palin is the Nancy Pelosi of the Republican party. They are both intelligent but when they make a mistake or say something stupid, they will say anything to reinforce the BS they spew.

The only difference is that Nancy has stayed in office and didn't quit to become a mouthpiece for MSNBC. The same cannot be said for Palin, who left her office, failed at the VP run, and now has become a Fox contributor and mouthpiece for the Right.

She and Biden both are a LOT smarter than most folks give them credit for.

Biden evidently plays on his dumb and idiot persona.

Palin has been cast and MSM manipulated into a button to evidently jerk a majority of Americans around per the PTB's clever and cheeky manipulations via their slick propaganda strategies.

Palin's name gets mentioned and millions froth at the mouth and fingers to castigate her up one side and down the other ON CUE.

My loved ones in Wasilla insist she's sharp, authentic, kind, perceptive, etc. and well liked in the area. Doesn't matter.

The PTB's MSM propaganda machine has created a VERY EFFECTIVE straw dog/red herring Palin with which to jerk the populace around rather mercilessly.

Cute. in a perversely dark way.

Then, she set up SarahPAC and used the money to take a vacation.

But she NEEDS to have the freedom to speak. Its the greatest thing for liberals.

You had to go back to slavery? Goody for you. Just proves my point since that was a democrat-owned ideology.

Yet slavery was a conservative institution of the south that was held in place by states rights advocates who claimed the Federal government was infringing on their right to own slaves. Last I checked conservatives are the ones concerned with states rights and low and behold so were the slaver states.

Kentucky

Whereas, the Federal Constitution, which created the Government of the United States, was declared by the framers thereof to be the supreme law of the land, and was intended to limit and did expressly limit the powers of said Government to certain general specified purposes, and did expressly reserve to the States and people all other powers whatever, and the President and Congress have treated this supreme law of the Union with contempt and usurped to themselves the power to interfere with the rights and liberties of the States and the people against the expressed provisions of the Constitution, and have thus substituted for the highest forms of national liberty and constitutional government a central despotism founded upon the ignorant prejudices of the masses of Northern society, and instead of giving protection with the Constitution to the people of fifteen States of this Union have turned loose upon them the unrestrained and raging passions of mobs and fanatics, and because we now seek to hold our liberties, our property, our homes, and our families under the protection of the reserved powers of the States, have blockaded our ports, invaded our soil, and waged war upon our people for the purpose of subjugating us to their will; and

Nice that you omit the 1st Amendment that the progressives want to rewrite.

You mean like the way the conservative SCOTUS decided that fictitious entities are "people" and that their money is equivalent to speech?

Sorry but conservatives already handle that, don't let your hypocrisy give you pause or a second of thought though...

Guess you never heard of southern democrats and the KKK.

Ah yes that's when the Republicans were the Progressive party and Black folks were heavily Republican then this little thing called the southern strategy happened where they lured bigots to their side Blacks and others shift to the Democrats,so please today's Republicans is not the party of Lincoln that liberal proto socialist tree hugger.

Sorry spider I wish I could make out what you're trying to say. The southern democrats were the KKK. A little gaggle on google will point you in the right direction for a source.

Southern Stratergy
www.wisegeek.com...

I gaggled and gooled this for ya, the Dixiecrats and KKK guy switched party which in turn cause AAs to abondoned the Republicans,in other words your party assuming you are a Rep invited them in.

Ok lets make a deal I won't use conservative blogs as a source if you won't use liberal blogs as a source.

Do you say these things about Pelosi and Reid?, be fair, box of rocks is too good for these two.

There is no comparison. I seriously doubt that Sarah Palin could even spell Pelosi or Reid, much less be any kind of intellectual challenge.

I wish we could have that spelling bee, sounds like a serious money maker. What makes you think Reid and Pelosi are such the intellects? There has to be hours of Reid almost drooling on camera while expounding complete gibberish. Whatta ya say we do a poll, who has the most brain power of the three?

Yeah he should be on the speaking circuit getting in the way of the current sitting POTUS. Tell me it doesn't bother Obama. Should I send a paint set to Clinton? At least Bush spends his time with disabled vets, what is it Clinton does with them?

After what Bush did to this country, he needs to take advantage of any photo op that will portray him in a positive light. Visiting disabled vets is pretty much a fail safe way to accomplish just that. Furthermore, he should be visiting them seeing how he's the one who lied us into the war that put many of them there.

And how many democrats went along with this lie and pushed forth the same lie? Isn't Hillary on the list? Didn't Pelosi the rocket scientist put forth the funding for the war? Just how would you explain now the the government paperwork posted here on ATS that shows the US sold Iraq the WMD's, or that ISIS has taken over a chemical weapons depot? Or our soldiers finding areas where nothing grows because of persistent nerve gas in the soil, or whrses with remnants of gas?

Clinton on the other hand, went on to create what is known as the Clinton Global Initiative. Here's their mission statement and recent accomplishments;

You put up a mission statement of the Clintons? Now there is some serious propaganda. When does the TV special come out? Because you know if they were really involved in doing anything worthwhile the MSM would be on it like white on rice. There would be photo ops, starving children, pictures inside of planes on their way to areas that needed help, absolute heros in the eyes of democrats and the MSM. Hell Bill even writes his own copy on their site. You can do better than that.

If the progressives and conservatives aren't being hurt by the Tea Party why are they so afraid of them, why do they feel the need to lie about them, and continue with the name calling?

For starters, the progressives are anything but "afraid" of the Tea Party. You might call us flabbergasted, amazed, amused, ashamed and more often than not, just plain disgusted. But afraid? Hardly! I don't see any Democrats cringing in fear of a T.P. challengers at election time, that would be Republicans.

Really have you forgotten the racist name calling of the Tea Party, accusations of spitting and racial slurs? You must need some ginkgo Biloba as a memory enhancement. Both republicans and democrats continue to demonize the Tea Party. They are just regular folks tired of Obama and the administration.

Just because some of my friends, family & neighbors might be supportive of a movement doesn't mean that their position is right and/or good for this nation and/or the world in general and all it takes for bad men to rule is for good men to remain silent.

Thank God the Tea Party isn't going to be silent.

There was a time when I was interested to see what the T.P. stood for and would be capable of doing. Now that some time has passed, it has become overwhelmingly apparent that their two biggest accomplishments are electing idiots to Congress and obstructing any and all reasonable legislation brought before them. Oh yeah, did I mention holding 50 failed votes to repeal ObamaCare?

To bad it wasn't repealed, just another mess created by liberal progressive policies that have failed miserably to the point you can't even get a functional website for a billion dollars. Good thing the VA scandal didn't happen before the vote.

Only because I was in DC at the time when vets were trying to get into the WWII memorial Bachman was there to remove barriers so they could enter, funny I didn't see any progressives there.

Funny, she didn't seem too concerned when her cohort to the nut-job brigade Ted Cruz, was busy reading "Green Eggs & Ham" to the Senate in the process of causing the government shutdown in the first place.

I have never understood the fear the Obama administration tried to place on a population claiming of a shutdown when the budget is funded and passed the year before. To prove their point they spent more money shutting down Gettysburg than it cost to leave it open, they even printed thousands of maps showing closed areas, while retaining park officials to put up barriers. They couldn't close Mt. Vernon although they tried, it is privately owned and controlled by a very nice group of women. But they were successful in closing the portion of the parking lot the federal government owns. This isn't second hand I was there both Gettysburg and Mt. Vernon as well. This just shows you the depth of the underhandedness Obama and his administration will stoop to, to instill fear into the public in an attempt to prove how bad the other party is.

Never in my life have I seen such a conglomerate of idiot buffoons elected to Congress and I've lost my patience for the movement, their tactics and their insistence on regressive policies.

Never in my life have I seen a worse administration, of liars, thieves, scandalous bastards. Bush looks like a Sunday school teacher compared to Obama.

Sorry, but to put it short and not so sweet, I have about as much use and/or respect for the Tea Party as I do the KKK of old.

KKK of old? Here I thought you liked democrats.

Of course, as usual, you make many good points.

It still flabbergasts me that anyone with a brain above that of a drunken gnat would seriously want to compare the lobotomized slugs from hell inhabiting the bodies of Reid and Pulosey to any vertebrates.

It's hard for me to think of any traitors in history who were more treasonous as well as more inept, klunky, ditzy, drollish, ignorant, corrupt, devilish, foul, tasteless, clumsy, clueless, . . . and nonsensical blatherers.

After one gets over the shock that those jerks are in congress, then one has to get over the terminally clueless ones that vote for them or that think they have brains and are wonderful citizens out to do anything but destroy the Republic.

Sheesh.

For me there is a common sense sort of frustration when it comes to people who just refuse to use anything between their ears. How anyone could think Pelosi and Reid have any sense let alone any smarts is beyond me. It still amazes me the fervorous aggression the democrats use against Palin, you would think she is the antichrist in a dress. This is the same way the attacked Bush day after day he was the stupidest guy on the planet. From comedians to the MSM he was the dumbest. Now since we have Obama he appears to be a Rockstar Genius. Remember how they went after Quayle? He was another supposed dumbass and now compared to Biden, Quayle he is Pure Genius.

I would bet that they didn't want Palin to have a chance at becoming president before HIllary had her chance. So they went on the attack of character assassination. Amazingly they are still at it.

Margaret Thatcher said it best:

"I always cheer up immensely if an attack is particularly wounding because I think, well, if they attack one personally, it means they have not a single political argument left.

Spelling bee? Go for it! I'll bet Sarah "the wiz kid" Palin doesn't get past the one syllable phase of the bee. Polls on the other hand don't mean squat. People on this site will say anything just to get the other side riled up.

Those people you mentioned were serving in Congress at the time, they were the ones who's approval Bush needed and they were the very ones being repeatedly lied to in order to get it. That's what I meant when I said he lied us into war.

Are you trying to say that the liar is not to blame but those who fall for their lies are?

Of course they had chemical weapons at one time, we all knew that. If I'm not mistaken Donald Rumsfeld was the one who swung the deal back when Saddam was at war with Iran. We sold Saddam the weapons to use against the Iranians and he did just that, he also later ended up using some of them against his own people. Go figure!

Then came the 1991 Gulf War which began with a month long air campaign that included over 100,000 sorties and the dropping of over 88,000 tons of bombs. I'll give you three guesses as to what kind of sites were included on those target lists. Wasn't it Rumsfeld who said that we needed to go into Iraq because they had all the "good targets?"

That's why the current headlines that seem to be captivating you say things like; "ISIS captures chemical weapons depot" or "ISIS captures nuclear weapons facility." It never says they've capture any viable chemical or nuclear weapons because they haven't due to the fact that we already destroyed them. All they're capturing are "depots & facilities."

The MSM does indeed run stories about the CGI quite often, but I doubt you'd be privy to them if you're watching Fox News or listening to Limbaugh or Beck, they literally hate reporting positive stories about progressives and would rather lie than do so.

Republicans demonize the Tea Party at their own peril while Democrats do it because it's the truth!

While I would agree that NOT every member of the Tea Party is racist, some of the regressive policies they support and promote definitely are and that's exactly why I said I had as much use for them as I do the KKK of old.

It's apparent that the key words in this paragraph are "I have never understood." FYI, there is a big difference between a budget proposal being approved and a debt limit being raised. One is a proposal of expected expenditures and the other gives us the ability to pay the bills we've already incurred. When you can't pay your bills things get shut down, plain & simple. Problem is, the Tea Party has a problem understanding "plain & simple."

All those Democrats switched parties when LBJ enacted the Civil Rights Act because they couldn't tolerate having a fellow Democrat extending equal rights to blacks. Pathetic, but true.

IMO, the modern day Tea Party is really nothing more than the newest incarnation of KKK mentality with a new name and flying a new "Don't Tread On Me" banner.

INDEED. WELL PUT yet again.

It's ALL Kabuki theater.

It's ALL a charade.

They ALL play absurd bit parts for varying lengths of time.

It's ALL modern bread and circuses while the Republic is undermined and shredded under the table . . . and globalist stooges are put in place to bring the whole house down around our ears with great bloodletting and destructiveness.

Palin was a super stooge in the sense that they cast her in an absurd and impossible role to begin with. McCain was a complicit super stooge with no plan or intent to win--that was OBVIOUS to anyone with a brain above a lobotomized gnat.

Palin was designed to be the lightening rod in the culture making conservatives and Christians look as stupid and clueless as possible.

She's actually quite different from the caricature they turned her into. I think Quayle was also much better than the caricature they turned him into.

However, as the REGRESSIVES even think slightly about Palin--their VERY WELL INSTALLED BUTTONS trigger all manner of outrage, indignation, hostility, judgmentalism, stereotyping

--ALL THE WORST STUFF that they routinely rail on conservatives about--only when it's against Palin et al

THEN--it's suddenly RIGHTEOUS INDIGNATION

--even though--OTHERWISE--REGRESSIVES do not tolerate any notion or construct of authentic rightness/or wrongness AT ALL

--except that whatever agrees with their MSM DICTATED DOGMA OF THE DAY is right and whatever doesn't is wrong.

It's NOT ABOUT THE TRUTH OR REALITY--it's about WHATEVER THE GLOBALIST PROPAGANDA/"REALITY CREATING" MACHINE SAYS IT IS.

And the bigger the lie, the more seem to fall for it.

It's not surprising at this late stage in the destruction of the Republic.

It's just sad to see such . . . basic mass brainwashing sooooo easily sooooo effective.

Using the same logic that's applied to Sarah Palin we can assume you all want him removed from office?

Surely if 57% of the people dislike the job he is doing he should be forced to resign?

For the record ?

That authoritarianism is the antithesis of what the word LIBERAL means.

I am not saying she doesn't have the right to voice her opinion but folks have the right not to care about anything she have to say and tune her out, just like you saw some guy with saying repent the end is near on the same corner day after day,you may pay attention the first couple o times after that you walking by him with your headphones on.

Correct people do have the right to not care what she says but the problem is they really do care what she says because this thread proves it.

If people truly did not want to listen to her they would change the channel or put on their headphones.

But here is where it gets tricky folks in media sought her out not because they believe she have anything of value to add but hoping she will say something extremely outrageous or asinine that will draw ratings and spark discussions about her and she never failed to deliver ,in the mean time no one pays attention to any rational Republican voices who I know is out there.

no, see, it's the opposite of what you say in your post. which is typical, btw.

palin matters, that's why everyone jumps on her.
not because she is "stupid" it's because she shows some balls that no one else has.

she tells it like it is and if you don't like it, tough sht.

she is also reasonable, she dresses down the repubs for screwing up too. she ain't no dummy.

the left are scared shtless of her and they can't rebutt her views, just denigrate her in anyway they can.
it's kind of funny and pathetic.
