Many of those "illegals" can get government assistance, housing assistance, healthcare, jobs, a driver's license in sanctuary states now... It's probably easier for them than for many born and raised citizens... Go figure.

So yeah in a way they are citizens... Do you really blame any of them for doing everything and anything they can to get into the USA?

Maybe we are the aliens in our own country now?

I take it that all you against these snot nosed kids and such do not believe in Jesus and his message. What will you do when the tables are turned and you are in need of help?

You are WRONG. The Cartels and coyotes are making thousands of dollars to escort them right to our border to hand them over to our Border Patrol Agents, who are under strict orders to hand them all over to ICE.

The cartels charge $7,000 to $8,000 per child to take them across Mexico to the U.S. border. Do the math: moving 40,000 immigrant youth north nets them from $280 million to $320 million—in cash, and upfront. Why are they able to get so many youth north? They literally own vast sections of Mexico, and they have their own protected routes.www.americamagazine.org...

Do your homework...you look silly posting your dream land version of reality.

I'm agnostic. Your appeal to religion won't work on me. But let's go a different way. How about we give amnesty to all the children who shoplift or sell drugs? I mean if we are going to give amnesty to law breakers, why stop at the ones who aren't citizens of the U.S.? Might as well include our citizens too right? WWJD amiright?

Maybe we are, I agree with you on that point.

Am I going to live out the rest of my life thinking as a working, tax paying, "by the book" natural born citizen that it's "okay" and just choke it down?

Hell NO! I wasn't raised that way and haven't lived my life that way.

Everything and all the success I enjoy I have earned...have never been given anything but opportunity.

It comes down to this: If you "take" you will NEVER Be any more than the government "allows" you to be.

Not sure where you reside but trust me, it's getting tough to swallow here in South Texas.

I think Jesus should take them all in.

I don't blame them for trying. I'd probably do the same thing in their position, but you can't blame me for fighting tooth and nail to prosecute them for breaking the law.

I've been in Texas, I know how bad it is, and with the exodus heading north now it can only get worse.

We have laws that should control this, but they are not being fully enforced, and with several states adopting their own policies that help illegal immigrants known as "sanctuary states" it is a screaming open invitation to people in Mexico, south and central America to come and enter the USA illegally.

In short, there really isn't a damned thing we can do about it now.

Here are the real problems in a nut shell when it comes to all of the young Illegal immigrants crossing the border.

The first is the concern of contagion. Many of the diseases that were once rampant in the USA have been put down to a small number. Some were thought to be extinct or no longer a public threat. And now with a larger influx of people, namely the children, no one can be sure of or even assured that coming from a third world country, that they have been inoculated against many of these diseases. If TB is running rampant, it would represent a serious threat to the USA. But on the same token, there are some diseases that have not made it that far south, which could also pose a health threat to those children as well. A mixing of diseases could create a nightmare scenario on both sides of the issue, which the country is not prepared to deal with. Some of the more common diseases that many in the USA that went through can be quite lethal to those children. And it is an issue that we must look at.

The next issue is the sheer number of children. The number is large, and no state or the country is prepared for a refugee situation, where they show up in mass, and then the question is who foots the bill, who is going to pay for them? Children are expensive, they require, food, housing, clothing, toys and other items that no one really can. Is it fair that they travelled thousands of miles from their homes only to be put into a jail or a cage? Even the nicest home can still seem like a prison, if they are not properly cared for. And they will need someone to watch after them, or do we want them to grow up and end up monsters that come back to haunt us all?

And by all accounts it is going to get worse, and worse, so the question is what to do with them, and who will care and pay for them. There are at any given time, close to by all accounts, over 250 thousand children in the foster system in the USA, and those are children that are legally here already. Can the system sustain an influx that would increase that amount? And the problems and questions keep going. Then there are language problems that will come up, along with some ethnic problems.

The first thing the USA needs to do is close the purse strings, stop the aid going to the home countries that these children are coming from, and through. That way when those countries look and say we need money, we can simply state, we can not afford to care for all of these new people and still give you a handout. Want the aid back, then stop the crossing illegally into our country. Many of the Central American countries, rely on said aid.

The next is to actually send those countries a bill for such, and if they will not pay, then simply stop dealing with them. Put travel restrictions on such, start making it more of a burden for their lack of doing something, than simply continue on with business as usual.

Because he's not loading them into buses and taking them to your house where you obviously want them all to live...

Follow the money...follow the "politicians" being put into high-powered and visable "positions"...this is planned.

Probably not much except be prepared to protect that which is ours.

I wish I could say that people ARE coming with "good intent" it used to be that way.

They wanted to work and learn the language and build a better lives for themselves and their families.

Now? They will steal and take, deface and abuse, spit in your face and call "foul" if you take them to task on it!

I propose the border be on lockdown...nothing gets in/out until this is resolved or at least until there is a viable plan in place.

It's not just about people...it's drugs...it's weapons...it's a nightmare of epic proportions.

Because he obviously doesn't care about these children:
On any given day, there are approximately 397,000 children in out-of-home care in the United States.
During the last year about 640,000 children spent some time in out-of-home care in the United States.

Exactly! The reason no one, not even a Congressman in his own state can get into any of the detention holding centers. Is due to they don't want them/us to see what is really coming in. The gangbangers looking to set up new turf here in our cities. The Cartel bangers doing the same.

MCALLEN, Texas—In one weekend, the U.S. Border Patrol prevented murder suspects, multiple sex offenders, and an MS-13 gang member from entering the interior of Texas after they illegally entered into the U.S. from Mexico. The arrests occurred in the Rio Grande Valley sector, ground zero of the current border crisis.

The murder suspect was caught approximately 85 miles from the border in Texas, near the town of Falfurrias. He is a Guatemalan who is wanted for alleged murder in the State of Florida.

Another of the arrests occurred near McAllen, Texas as a man from El Salvador who crossed the porous U.S.-Mexico border was determined to be an MS-13 gang member who had previously served ten years in prison for rape.

Another man who was caught is a convicted sex offender from El Salvador. A Mexican man was also caught and determined to be wanted for second-degree murder.

The U.S. Customs and Border Protection agency reports that 2014 has seen more than 40 previously convicted sex offenders who have been arrested attempting to illegally enter the Rio Grande Valley sector of Texas.www.nationalreview.com...

“I’ve heard people come in and say, ‘You’re going to let me go, just like you let my mother go, just like you let my sister go. You’re going to let me go as well, and the government’s going to take care of us,’” Cabrera says. “Until we start mandatory detentions, mandatory removals, I don’t think anything is going to change. As a matter of fact, I think it’s going to get worse.”

Art Del Cueto, president of the National Border Patrol Council Local 2544 in Tucson, says agents who recognize the gang-affiliated tattoos of minors crossing the border must treat them the same as anybody else. He says these people are afforded the same rights provided to anyone crossing the border. www.nationalreview.com...

It's getting crazy people. As if we don't have enough of our own gang problems here.

We saw what was coming in in the beginning before they hid everything, there were a lot of young adults, and many of the children seemed to be with parents.

Did y'all notice where I posted to "follow the money?"

So...do you think the drug manufacturers have the potential to make yet even more money as they DEMAND our "natural US citizen" children are immunized against possibly new and resistant strains of a disease that was pretty much eradicated?

www.foxnews.com...

I am literally becoming more appaled by the hour...also just spoke with someone who is "contracted" by this local health care system as a nurse and she is terrified as well.

Sorry but this is starting to STINK to high heaven...why the "secrecy" if everything is going so well?

Because they know people would potentially storm the gates with pitchforks if the truth gets out...would the military (who is also NOT really happy locally about this going on, it's compromising their exercises in some cases) truly take a stance against US citizens?

There used to be a Constitution that wouldn't allow for this...not so sure right now.

PS: I am aware that FOX isn't the "best sorce" but my phone call did confirm.

Yep, this is why the "what about the children" defense doesn't work on me. We already have our own displaced child problem, why do people insist on adding to that burden? Especially since we have problems adequately housing the ones we already DO have. It's like this illegal immigration issue exists in a vacuum in these people's heads. Address our OWN issues THEN look towards helping these children. Fix the orphaned U.S. citizens problem; fix the legal immigration problem; employ the under and unemployed U.S. citizens. These are all PRESSING issues that people are ignoring in favor of helping these illegal immigrants enter and stay in the country. I'm sorry, but I have little to no sympathy for them even if they are children. The fact is they broke the law. They fall to the bottom of my list for giving sympathy too. I want to sympathize with the people who are here legally and need help first.
