It's the gun door. This was the high speed test of the door to make sure it would function properly.

I'm just taking a wild guess but maybe where it deploys flares or something. Don't some jets have decoys or some other such device for heatseeking missiles?

The chaff and flare dispensers are usually back by the engines, and sit flush with the fuselage. The F-22 uses an internally mounted M61A2 6 barrel gun, which is used on almost all US aircraft. That door is above the gun, and opens to allow the gun to be used.

It has to be enclosed on stealth aircraft, because the gun barrels will reflect radar and increase the RCS. So they enclose it to hide it from radar.
