Uganda: Police officer shoots 'aggressive' tortoise

The officer - named as Charles Onegiu by the New Vision newspaper - said the animal entered his home and attacked him while he was enjoying a post-work cup of tea. "I tried to scare it but the tortoise became very aggressive.

Unbelievable ! What's going on with police nowadays every time you click on the news there's always some crazy cop shooting someone , something , or assaulting someone ! I know there's a few matches that don't strike in every box but lately it's getting crazy !

Probably too tired after a hard day at work to walk around to the back of the fellow, lift the shell up, and carry him out the door. Then again, maybe a tortoise scared him in his crib when he was a kid.

I have pics if anyone is interested. It was actually pretty passive so it was probably exhausted but still a tortoise! You can bribe those things with a handful of veggies.

Well I'm puzzled why the Japanese haven't jumped on the band wagon. Those whales are pretty darn aggressive.
