My husband can not log in

When he puts in his username and password and hits the button (note: this is automatically done by the browser but we have tried manually as well), it takes him to recent posts and he is still logged out. Any ideas? Is this a glitch that is currently happening? I am afraid to log out if it is a problem, but I am curious to see what happens if I do.

Try clearing cookies and the cache and then logging in.

I'm not sure if this is related but I just had a login problem. In case it was a deleted thread or a glitch I went back to the login page again by clicking on login. Then made sure I had no spaces after my username, then made sure to press my on screen return button instead of the ATS login icon. It worked for me the second time.

Ran CCleaner and cleared history through FireFox. Still can't get in.

Not sure what you mean by that.

I am typing on an iPad. I was referring to the on screen pop up keyboard. It has a return button.

Sometimes I notice when I ignore the on screen keyboard, the last letter of a password doesn't seem to always go through if I click on a sites login icon. In other words after I put in my password, I click on my pop up return button.

Oh I see. My husband is using a desktop, he did try hitting the enter key but it still didn't work. I have never used an Ipad, tablet, smartphone ect. so I don't really know how the popup keyboards work, hence my reason for not making the connection.

For password resets etc. just send an email to [email protected]

I had the same problem for two weeks figured it was a slap on the wrist. Apparentlynot but I'm afraid I dont know how to help you as it just started working one day.

We'll try that but since the browser auto fills in his password and we haven't changed it we aren't sure that is it, but worth a try.

Use Chrome and you shouldn't have any issues. Firefox, Opera and IE can be really wonky.

Had same problem on android tablet and found cause was disabled cookies.

I am having that problem too.



Chrome is not working either. When he hits the log in key, it just takes him straight to recent posts without being logged in. Same exact thing it did in FireFox.

We would both rather keep or accounts unassociated with each other, (he is just embarrassed of me I know it :roll So I am sending a U2U. He has already had his password changed and still can not log in.

Not really..

My only suggestion would be to try another browser.. Chrome seems to work best although I use Firefox almost exclusively with no issues..

I'm not the "Tech" guy but I will alert the other thread and see what we can do..
