turns out it's a ship. they're thinking hospital ship due to the heli pad on the top platform.

I suspect it's the Vandenberg.
On the quad view at source, it shows the terrain under the water. The terrain from Florida falls deeper towards the location of vessel?
The photo on cnn article resembles quite alot, no?

You could be right, it does look it's Vandenberg.
Yep, they just said and we can see that all dors and hatches are open and that its designed to sink.
It's also military.

It's not Vandenberg, that was a big ship. This is like a missile cruiser.

Anybody know what the appendage is on this Spruance? Reminds me of radar cross section reduction or testing.
