On Facebook today I have seen two different people that I am friends with talking about the Rex 84 program going into effect today and tomorrow. They even went to say that the illegal immigrant issue is being used as a ruse to ship the people they deem to be threats to the government. Using the buses to ship Americans not immigrants to camp and bases. Has anybody else heard anything??? Am i sleeping next to my 12GA tonight???

I think there have been several threads on that issue on ATS...I remember reading one about homeless people disappearing and being shipped away to camps .

What's ridiculous about Rex 84 is that they chose the number 84 like Orwell's novel.

It's so in your face that the real mission is obvious. Scary # man.

Look up Agenda 21 when you get chance as well.

The simple fact that you allude to not sleeping with your 12GA. is your answer.
As well as a clue to others about you.

I'm pretty sure the great majority of the countries in the world have the same kind of program:

-No constitution.
-The military controls local, state and federal governments.
-Basic human rights are suspended.

What is troubling are the lists of citizens that would be apprehended, along with relocation of large masses of population.

The only scenario i can see this happening is: World War or massive terrorist attacks (America is the big "antagonist" after all) But i think it will be very difficult to have a third world war, too many deterrents. However, thanks to Nuclear Weapons and modern military technology we might be doomed to a permanent state of belligerence.

Or is the seemingly endless stage of belligerence going to build up pressure until the Big War starts?

However, these plans seem useless since a third world war would mean nuclear war, and no matter if 99% of nuclear bombs are destroyed, the remaining 1% can still anihilate us all (thanks Watchmen).
Even the big fish on their bunkers wouldn't survive initial blast, and if they did they'd still die eventually of starvation, thirst, fallout or gulp, guilt.

they don't need to round people up and put them into camps. all they need to do is to not allow them to leave the cities.

For the last 14 years Kellogg Brown & Root has held a $100 million + a year contract to build emergency detention facilities to use for this very contingency. They're probably pretty busy on it right now with the way things are going.

KBR has been awarded an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract to support the Department of Homeland Security's (DHS) U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) facilities in the event of an emergency. KBR is the engineering and construction subsidiary of Halliburton (NYSE:HAL).

The contract, which is effective immediately, provides for establishing temporary detention and processing capabilities to augment existing ICE Detention and Removal Operations (DRO) Program facilities in the event of an emergency influx of immigrants into the U.S., or to support the rapid development of new programs. The contract may also provide migrant detention support to other U.S. Government organizations in the event of an immigration emergency. pport-Services/

As for shipping Americans into the camps, well, the training, facilities and legislation is there and it is authorized by the Patriot Act, John Warner Defense Authorization Act and the National Defense Authorization Acts. It's a touchy subject that most think is chicken little pie in the sky. But congress seems pretty obsessed with the idea and have made it nice and legal for Americans to be interred if/when some nice bureaucrat sees fit. So there you go.

Having never heard of this Rex 84 before I looked it up on wiki ...

Rex 84

Rex 84, short for Readiness Exercise 1984, was a classified "scenario and drill" developed by the United States federal government to suspend the United States Constitution, declare martial law, place military commanders in charge of state and local governments, and detain large numbers of American citizens who are deemed to be "national security threats", in the event that the President declares a "State of National Emergency". The plan states, events causing such a declaration would be widespread U.S. opposition to a U.S. military invasion abroad, such as if the United States were to directly invade Central America. To combat what the government perceived as "subversive activities", the plan also authorized the military to direct ordered movements of civilian populations at state and regional levels.

Exercises similar to Rex 84 have happened in the past. For example, from 1967 to 1971, the FBI kept a list of over 100,000 persons to be rounded up as subversive, dubbed the "ADEX" list.

The FBI Indexes were a series of personnel databases used by the FBI before the adoption by the Bureau of computerized databases. They were based on paper index cards. They were used to track US citizens and others believed by the Bureau to be dangerous to national security. The indexes generally had different 'classes' of danger the 'subject' was thought to represent.

So it is basically a test to round up anybody on their 'lists' during a 'crisis' that they repeat every few decades!

I note that the WH could of course precipitate its own 'crisis' if it wanted to realize the reality of such a test!

I have a feeling with the recent events in Dallas, Orlando, etc. we will see this Rex 84 program being implemented. I hate stumbling into old threads like this where i just HOPE someone will reply. At any rate, I hope this conversation and continue and will be checking my "replies" looking for this thread.

Let's put some life back into this thread folks!!! Important topic!!
