I must be a masochist. No person in their right mind would ever eat one of these. It is ranked as the hottest pepper on this planet. My brother was the only one willing to join me in the experience. Previously, the ghost pepper was the hottest thing I had ever eaten. I didn't think my nervous system was capable of perceiving anything hotter. The scorpion is insane. There were two huge puddles of saliva, snot, and tears afterward. The endorphin rush was awesome. 2 million Scovilles beeatch!en.wikipedia.org...

On December 26, 2013, the Guinness World Records voted the 'Carolina Reaper' the world's hottest pepper, dethroning the Trinidad moruga scorpion

I grew some thai chilis. The mockingbirds ate them like candy. You can get the scorpion seeds online.

Take it like a man.

Next in line is the Carolina Reaper.

The endorphin rush was awesome.

It's magnified if you eat ... wait for the heat to subside ... and enter round two. Few seem to realize this and go full quantity in a rush.

This works with everything from the Habanero all the way up.

Ghost peppers are the hottest I've been able to find ... and I realized too late they're way too hot for me to mess with. Internal bleeding is _not_ your friend, but it makes for a good war story.

I just shaved with the blade I cut one up with. Forgot to wash it. Now my face is on fire.

It's not the hottest, Carolina Reaper is, it's a brand new hybrid species.

The Reaper is next. I don't fear the Reaper. No pain, no gain. Feel the burn!

Question. What part do you plan to eat and how much? The seed?

No half measures. All or none.

Ah, I just ordered some scorpion pepper seeds recently. I'm gonna try to grow some. I've gotten quite fond of of a certain hot sauce made with scorpion peppers, so I'm hoping I am prepared for the real thing, once I get some to grow....Either way my girlfriend promised to film me eating them, so I imagine there's a good chance that it will go up on Youtube! Hopefully I won't cry too much!

This is one of those occasions you can be crying and still be the biggest man in the room.

They have a wonderful pepper flavor. It would be great for making a sauce. If you have the cajones to eat one straight up, you will feel some intense burn. It felt like I had a glowing coal in my mouth. I have a plant growing that has 13 peppers ripening.
