Just saw this, did a search and didn't find anything..

I know it's fox news but I found this highly interesting.

If only we could actually just get them out permanently, I like this guys quote, "We can't start taking care of others if we can't take care of our own," a very true statement indeed.

Here's some from the article;

America's border crisis reached Main Street, as flag-waving protesters in a San Diego suburb turned back three busloads of illegal immigrants after the town's mayor warned Tuesday that federal officials were using the community as a safety valve for facilities swamped by a tide of Central American refugees.

Fears of disease, crime and already-strained government services prompted Murrieta, Calif., Mayor Alan Long to rally residents against plans by the Department of Homeland Security to bus the children and families to a processing center in the city of 106,000 residents. Confronted by the protests, the buses were rerouted to San Diego.

Lots of controversies are coming from this issue.

IMO, the Federal Government is intentionally making a public spectacle for political reasons.

They even anticipated the "arrivals" in January with a contractor solicitation for transportation.

With all their resources, the government still can't seem to solve any problems.

I think that our Government is involved with human trafficking. Why is the UN not voicing disapproval?

They should never have been allowed across the border. No Amnesty ,deport them all.

It's like Fast and Furious in reverse. Only now we're illegally trafficking people across our border in an attempt to force public sympathy for amnesty legislation.

Yeah... You get a lot of that around here depending on what side of the fence you're on. (No pun intended) Take it with a grain of salt at most.

I tend to have the same view on it and I am tired of folks just ok with letting tons of people flood in here when we can't even provide for our own. ANY state that agrees to take these folks on should not need any federal funding for housing, Medicaid, food stamps, etc. they should be well off enough to take these immigrants in with no help from our government at all if they are that well off. None of their own residents should be in need of housing, waiting for an opening for housing, waiting for Medicaid to kick in, or any other help. They should be well and good.

Somehow I don't think that is the case though and that's not right.

They can line up to call me a nazi. It's ok. I'm just tired of getting pissed on while our government tries it's damndest to convince me it's just raining.

And California of all places ... not only is their budget a bloody mess, but they don't have the water to support more people.

A similar thing happened here in the UK, the previous Labour government invited vast unsustainable immigration.

Similar to the article, most weren't ''seeking asylum'', they were there to see relatives, friends etc, they were part of a network, mostly of a criminal nature that allowed them to get there in the first place, often having to pay money or allegiance to them, before going and after arriving.

They certainly weren't the neediest of those countries that really needed asylum, those couldn't afford it or didn't have the network connections to do so. And yes they were all generally scripted, saying similar things.

Basically the government 'invited' a load of gangs types from other nations.

At least these people in the US are aware of it and are trying to prevent their nation being overrun.

It is the overwhelmingly ignorant PC bias from outspoken liberals that make you feel that way. You shouldn't be ashamed of anything you said, in fact you should be proud of it. The fact you compared yourself to a nazi because you don't want to take in illegal immigrants(many of which are affiliated with crime) is astonishing to me.

This is coming from a former liberal now Independent so there is no need for you all to start with all that conservative h8 B$.

Be proud to be an American, don't be ashamed.

Oh I have been called so many names for being against illegals and standing up for my fellow American citizens and folks coming here through the proper channels. They think if they start with the name calling, we'll back down. Do not let that deter you from speaking your truth, for standing up for our poor and hungry, struggling and suffering. For some reason, pro illegal folks don't seem to think they exist. I'm sure there are some who are sick and tired of hearing my comments, the same comments over and over again, but I am not about to let Americans be stepped on and tossed aside like they don't matter, because they do!!!!

For many years we called illegal immigrants illegal. Then to be politically correct, we were expected to call them undocumented immigrants. Like what? We don't call a bank robber financially challenged.

So they are protesting that the government is processing and deporting illegal immigrants because they want illegal immigrants deported.

Obamacare, obamaphones, and now obamabuses? When will this socialist Muslim Kenyan-born communist understand America is for Americans?

yeah, really....it's like "yeah, frak all these stupid american homeless things...they did it to themselves....let's focus on mexico's homeless things, because they TOTALLY didn't do it to themselves, and they're worth so much more to the companies who will hire them under the table"

and the sad part is that people eat this crap up..

Indeed! It is so frustrating that some people can't comprehend common sense anymore.

You'll point out how we have homeless and hungry people here and they don't believe it. They don't believe the truth.

I can be just as relentless as the pro illegal folks. I will not for a minute let our people go un-acknowledged. They matter and I will make sure people know it.

Familiar with Godwin's Law?

"As an online discussion grows longer, the probability of a comparison involving Nazis or Hitler approaches 1."

Resorting to "name calling" is the surest sign someone doesn't have a valid counter-point to argue. And I whole heartedly agree with you, it's beyond absurd to bring in more people, when so many native-born citizens are struggling.

Starting to think (scratch that, know) that we as a country have been sold. The 4th could soon be renamed "Government Dependence Day" without drastic changes.

Never understood that phrase that I started hearing all of a sudden as a child. "Politically Correct?" And exactly why is it expected for non-politicians to use "PC speak?"

I might be able to actually have a little, teensy-tiny amount of respect for any politician who spoke the blunt truth, rather than the weasly double-speak drivel that spews forth nowadays.
