MOVIE - GOD IS NOT DEAD

Just watched the movie God is not dead. I would recommend both believers and non-believers to watch it. A debate between a college student and his professor about God.

Though it is a movie I enjoyed it.

So what do you think, is God dead?

This does not mean he is dead, does it? This particular issue that you mention was addressed in the movie.

Seems like this is always the argument against God... In fact even Bart Ehrman turned agnostic because of the problem of suffering...

My answer is that those poor souls landed themselves in their situation through what they did in past lives...

Sometimes its hard to wrap ones head around but its he only logical answer

And my answer is that the Spaghetti Monster is just really, really disappointed in them for how little pasta they incorporate into their diet.

I would say better then most... yes

No one said you have to believe it... But that is my belief, and if you look at the past and how much destruction and mass murder humans have done in said past... again, its the only logical way

Read about it a while back and am hoping to watch it soon.

Movie or not as long as it makes one think and ask themselves the question they are afraid to ask themselves.

My answers aren't rooted in fear. My answers don't encourage self-abasement. My answers aren't intent on bringing about the apocalypse so that all men can share chains under the sort monarchy we sacrificed thousands of lives to escape.

Maybe past lives play part in some and maybe in others because our lives are all interconnected the situations or experience faced are for those around us to learn from our suffering.

So many ask why does God allow a small child to die in accident or worse be murdered by a mad man,

The death of the child is for the ones that are left behind that the experience affects the most and its for them to either gain understanding and use that for the positive or to allow the darkness to overcome us because we cant fight the situation and give in and fail GODs test of having us experience such horror and be able to move forward.
