Global mining corporations are wrestling for control of rich, easily exploitable -and mainly undeveloped- iron ore deposits in Guinea, Liberia and Sierra Leone. The aluminum, diamonds, gold and uranium are on the chopping block too. The Big Boyz want the usual fire-sale prices for their permits - insist on paying slave wages for local labor - and find those pesky national borders …inconvenient. Still, greedy dictators offer great deals. Unfortunately for global corporations, Guinea had a democratic election and in November of 2010, Conde won with the promise to review mining contracts.

TSRHTF in April 2014 when Guinea pulled BSGR's mining permit, saying BSGR obtained its mining rights through corruption in 2008 for the northern Simandou iron deposit. Then in May 2014, Guinea signed a game-changing $20 billion deal for Simandou's southern section with Rio Tinto (LON:RIO), China's Chalco and the World Bank. Unheard of. Even Wikipedia says the Simandou iron ore project is only worth $6 billion. Wonder where they got their information.

Meanwhile, workers are demanding living wages and ready to strike.

So. Ebola appeared in West Africa for the very first time in the midst of negotiations, renegotiations and labour unrest - in the Gueckedou mining district bordering Sierra Leone, Liberia and their mines. Oddly enough, it was a brand new, never-seen-before Ebola strain.

Fact is, there is no way in hell local guerillas, tribespeople or religious warriors could create, cultivate and disperse such a deadly virus. Piece of cake for multi-billion $ global corporation$ though.

You do the math.

…Just to be clear, injustices on the other side of the world don't necessarily stay where they started. Ebola Epidemic Could Become Global Crisis.

Definitely makes one think.....
We all know the technology is available, but most would prefer to believe things like this would never be done deliberately......

Unfortunately, it happens all the time - and has been since corporations first began funding wars way back when. Research shows corporations are most likely to use bio-terrorism too.

The 'bioterrorism' idea was floated in the first few pages of this thread: Ebola Epidemic Could Become Global Crisis. Unfortunately, it was put forward in the media by 'global security analysts' who tried to blame the region's warring tribal factions. [Ridiculous!] When the various ridiculosities of that analysis were identified, the whole idea was dropped and avoided like the plague. ...Shouldn't have been.

The following damage control article was written by Maggie Fox, a responsible reporter. But it begs the question, "If Ebola was 'smoldering for years,' and there were unidentified cases treated in hospital, they why didn't more people get infected - especially nursing staff?"

Ebola May Have Been Smoldering for Years, Study Says

….A new study of blood samples from people being treated for a serious, viral-like illness in years past in Guinea, Sierra Leone and Liberia suggests some of them could have been infected with Ebola. Now researchers are digging deeper to see if the virus has always been lurking there, just undetected.

…..it would be unlikely for a virus such as Ebola to appear completely out of the blue in a region.

……..Schoepp’s team looked at blood samples taken from 253 people cleared of both Lassa and malaria between 2006 and 2008. …..Nearly 9 percent of the samples that were clear of everything else tested positive for antibodies to Ebola [16] and nearly 4 percent to Marburg [7]. ….[….we could only attribute a possible cause to 28 percent of these samples...]

…..There’s no specific treatment for Ebola, and it’s important to isolate patients and take strict precautions, including the use of gloves and masks, when treating them. [NOTE: Ebola recently killed 25 out of 28 nurses in a single hospital in Sierra Leone.]

…Ebola had only been seen in central Africa and parts of eastern and southern Africa before. ….This (outbreak) is different because it’s crossed borders and it affecting both urban and rural areas.
