Why does there have to a master at all? Some people want (not as many as you seem to think) government to have authority over people. Others (You guys insist on calling your selves Libertarians even though the word traditionally meant Socialist) want private companies to have authority over people. Someone complaining about either doesn't necessarily favor the other.

You want to trade one master for another. I want freedom from both.

Just remember after all the ranting is done that government's produce nothing, they only consume.

In fact, they are the biggest consumer in the world.

For some unknown reason many people think the government will provide for them, protect them, and are some omnipotent force, they are not.

If the government were a true business in the real world they would have gone bankrupt years ago.

Margaret Thatcher once said that

"The trouble with Socialism is that eventually you run out of other people's money."

Read and learn.

The ruling is very specific, and is crafted in regards to the mandate for contraception.

Oh, and if a company wants all employees to pray....to Allah, the Sun God, God, Mother Earth I have no problem with that.

I, just like you and everyone else in the US don't have to work there.

okay so now a few businesses don't have to provide that part.
Should the insurance companies now have to design a special plan to cater to those few businesses?

Really!

Every-time I have applied for a month's supply of condoms I have been denied.

Go figure!

We are not talking about what-ifs, maybes or want-tos.

And unless you have some sort of proof stating this, it is what is above this sentence.

and what do you not understand about them still deciding the fate of women? Do you comprehend hypocrisy?

Are you not playing with a full deck here? No where in this ruling does it state, Hobby Lobby is deciding the fate of women. If anything it leaves more of the decision making process to the women, where it belongs. Based on personal beliefs, not a government mandate.

You keep missing the fact this was a ruling on only 4 methods out of an all inclusive BC HC plan. Nothing to do with the fate of women's health care.

Start painting with a smaller brush...you'd be closer to the truth.

I hadn't given it a thought.... and I think I have a dirty mind.

Here is an idea what the people at Conestoga WOOD specialties WOOD have to pay in fines, if they chose not to follow the law... before the SCOTUS decision:

Conestoga, with approximately 950 employees, faces a fine of $95,000 per day, or $34,675,000 per year.

Seems a bit excessive.

As long as people like you, feel that they are OWED everything by the government, including the government being able to force businesses to cater to you entitled people...our society is screwed.

Maybe its time people other than religious fanatic's had a chance at screwing society up. The christian faith has single handedly kept the human race in the dark age's longer than it should have been because science was "evil"
And you know what else is OWED to people? PRIVACY. If a woman requires the abortive pill it should be covered in her companies medical package.
So maybe you should stop bitching and start PAYING BACK what you owe to humanity? Women especially.

If you, oh so entitled people keep getting your way. Say bu-bye to small businesses, entrepreneurship. Say hello to bigger government run by bigger committees, and a vice like grip of ever increasing taxation on the dwindling number of people still able to pay taxes.

Please, the only thing i fear right now is the fact you're allowing a corporation's religious beliefs to effect its employee's. Im just gonna come out and say it - Christian's are dumb. They live their whole lives trying to stay dumb, but then they wanna run a country and suddenly they start telling people how smart they are while pissing everyone off.

You can keep your utopian society of being permanently latched onto the government teat.

Oh how dramatic. And how is hanging onto every world for your 2000 year old fairy-tale bible working out for ya? God's gonna have some nice treats for you when you pop your clog's eh?

What? You mean this time? You're all for "if they take our guns then....." That's a "what if". This "what if" doesn't suit you? And I think "YES". If they could force their employees to go down a certain path they would. They took this right up to the SC. IF they could in their own swimming pool they WOULD set those rules. Too bad if those folks don't share the same religious beliefs though.

No one cares if we don't have our condoms paid for by insurance.

Now that would be a great solution.

Make all birth control over-the-counter.

It has legally disallowed them from using the company medical package for attaining them, how answer this:
How is allowing access to the morning after pill discriminating against religious beliefs? Stop avoiding the question.

LOL, I quoted directly from the decision above. TWICE.

Here it is again, will the THIRD TIME be a charm?

Here's what the SCOTUS ruling in Hobby Lobby et. al. actually STATES:

"RFRA's (Religious Freedom Restoration Act) text shows that Congress designed the statute to provide very broad protection for religious liberty and did not intent to put merchants to a choice. It employed the familiar legal fiction of including corporations within RFRA's definition of "persons," but the purpose of extending rights to corporations is to protect the rights of people associated with the corporation, including shareholders, officers and employees. Protecting the free-exercise rights of closely held corporations thus protects the religious liberty of the humans who own and control them."

Perhaps you should READ before you make claims about what you've heard on the radio ...

Now, address what has been quoted DIRECTLY from the decision THREE TIMES now ... no more side-stepping.

Sorry about the delay, one of my former parasitic cancerous blobs was forcing me to feed it. Anyway, what were we talking about again?

Oh yeah, the legal definition of abortion needs to change because there is no word to describe the willful expulsion of a fertilized egg from the human body.

I provided a link earlier in the thread showing that women can have condoms paid for by ACA plans, but men do not.

So it doesn't matter if they are sold over the counter or not. It is a discriminatory practice and it is written into the ACA.
