If you’re like most cable news viewers, you probably think the channel you favor has a monopoly on the facts and the other ones are nothing more than a bunch of ranting. In fact, which cable network is the most opinionated is not a matter of opinion. It’s MSNBC.
A full 85% of the Comcast-owned network’s coverage can be classified as opinion or commentary rather than straight news, according to the authors of the Pew Research Center’s annual State of the News Media report.
CNN and Fox News Channel, meanwhile, fall much closer to a 50/50 distribution, with Fox News skewing somewhat more heavily toward opinion.

I still don't understand.
Fox (the evil hated bad Fox) gave time for a Muslim to speak about Ramadan.
And that makes them (or those who read/watch) ignorant and bigoted?
I hope everyone posting in this thread takes the time to actually read the article before making blanket opinions on the subject.
So, this is an altruistic move on the part of Fox News?

Did you read the piece Beez? I'm sure you did. Why would there be a need to write such a condescending piece if there was no need for it? Do Fox readers really thing that the Muslim next door is making bombs instead of omelets?
Not all, of course, but there are many ignorant people out there that have such a fear and Fox News is responsible for some of that.

i wish my server didn't take red-eye out of the line up.
i wouldn't give those other stations the time of day. in fact i dropped them from my cable channels, no need to waste money.
i get all their bs and then some, here for free.
i think the left wing stations and media are the bigoted and ignorant ones.
proof? just watch a few minutes of it.
But do you watch anything else?

And the continued attack on conservatives begins in 3. . . 2. . .
All silliness aside, it's an opinion piece. Are we going to judge a network based on an opinion piece?
Might as well judge ATS on one thread.
Unless I'm missing something here.
(Will give you time to clarify)
So an attack on FoxNews is an attack on conservatives? Bit short-sighted to state that all conservatives are like the paid shills at Fox.
Not at all. Many will use this as an oppourtunity to attack conservative ideologies though.

But there is plenty of ignorance to go around and the left is equally responsible for playing on it. Witness the Huffington Post's recent brilliance of telling their readers that if we don't all go vegan, we'll kill the planet. That's clearly playing on ignorant Global Warming hysteria.
