Legendary Soul Singer Bobby Womack has died at age 70.

"I am sadly able to confirm but I have no details at this time," said Sonya Kolowrat, his publicist with XL Recordings.

Womack, whose career has spanned more than 50 years, wrote and performed numerous hits including "That's the Way I feel About Cha," and "Across 110th Street."

He also wrote The Rolling Stones' first UK No. 1 hit, "It's All Over Now," and was more recently inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2009.

RIP. Some of the best music put on this planet was 60's-70's r&b/soul. Thanks for your contribution Bobby.

Gorillaz fan here, I thought his contribution to Sylo was pretty awesome especially with the background story on how he wasn't even told what to sing. They just told him to improv it. He made that song.
