I can't believe this isn't posted in here. I still don't understand exactly what they were trying to do, but republicans broke into the Governor's office (a democrat) in an apparent effort to get him to pass their budget that doesn't include medicaid expansion.
This is so typical of Republicans these days, they will commit any act or crime for their religious Jihad against our society.

To add to the accuracy of this thread it should be noted that the budget was placed on a chair outside of the office of governor Auliffe, they were escorted in by Capitol Police Chief Regan, and the reason State police were not there is because they are in charge of personal security of the governor and of course he was not there. So the "jihadis" were escorted by Capitol Police and never entered the office.

This is what you call the chicken little complex.

I was going to post this story when I saw it late this afternoon, but opted to go out an unwind instead.

Anyhow, this does not surprise me. This has been going on for decades, if not centuries. This might be a "first" if not for Nixon. Nevertheless, this reeks of Nixon Style Right-wing Extremist politics.

I hope they all get the maximum punishment prescribed by the law.

Everybody around the country should pay special attention to you local elections...this might be a wide-spread conspiracy to steal the government.

As pointed out before wrong religion. The term Crusade is popular with the "Christians". It's funny how they are against Medicaid though didn't Jesus say something about helping the poor? My bad I forgot Jesus was a dirty socialist commie.

Actually it is quite typical of the progressive liberals to open their mouths and nothing but lies spring forth. There was a time when A person's character was measured by the truth of his words..... You can keep your doctor and the cost will be reduced by $2500... good sales pitch but again nothing but lies. Actually both sides do it but it seems like the liberals are made out of Teflon for nothing of their lies stick.

I will have the most transparent administration in history.

The stimulus will fund shovel-ready jobs.

I am focused like a laser on creating jobs.

The IRS is not targeting anyone.

It was a spontaneous riot about a movie.

If I had a son.

I will put an end to the type of politics that "breeds division, conflict and cynicism".

You didn't build that!

I will restore trust in Government.

The Cambridge cops acted stupidly.

The public will have 5 days to look at every bill that lands on my desk

It's not MY red line - it is the world's red line.

Whistle blowers will be protected in my administration.

We got back every dime we used to rescue the banks and auto companies, with interest.

I am not spying on American citizens.

Obama Care will be good for America.

If you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor.

Premiums will be lowered by $2500.

If you like it, you can keep your current healthcare plan.

It's just like shopping at Amazon.

I knew nothing about "Fast and Furious" gunrunning to Mexican drug cartels.

I knew nothing about IRS targeting conservative groups.

I knew nothing about what happened in Benghazi.

I have never known my uncle from Kenya who is in the country illegally and that was arrested and told to leave the country over 20 years ago. And, I have never lived with that uncle. (He finally admitted on 12-05-2013 that he DID know his uncle & that he DID live with him.)

And the biggest “misstatement” of all:

"I, Barrack Hussein Obama, pledge to preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States of America."

Even though the lies which seem to turn into misquotes will be explained away through some convoluted use of the English language they are there for all to see.. Some do not look much less see.

" Republicans break into VA Governor's office to stop Medicaid Expansion "

Thank God for checks and balances.

Was anybody arrested?

If not, how did they know?

Buster you just throwing a few fireballs out there to see if anyone is catching them? I didn't see the words Crusade, Christians, Jesus, anywhere in the OP. Just having one of those days?

Sometimes I think its just because the opulent president they elected turned out to be such a let down, they will do or say anything to prove they are right. That became obvious when the Bush defense was their only answer to any of the scandals, and lies this president and his administration spewed from the White House.

Like this OP the hatefulness drips from every word. And the truth of the matter is McAuliffe is a major crook, it was his idea to rent out Lincolns bedroom, was the fund raiser for the Clintons, and started his career with his father in-law in florida doing very shady things. It's no wonder the Chinese want to build here he was working with them to build an electric car factory here in VA until they found out it was for rich foreigners to get visa's and citizenship for business investments, and he was denied.

Mother Jones wrote an excellent article on Mcauliffe and his not very nice past. But I am sure it's the republicans and Bushes fault.

If you don't mind a suggestion, drop aattp as a source.

Poster MarlinGrace has pointed you down the correct road. They didn't break in, they didn't do anything illegal, they didn't enter the Governor's office, they didn't stop any action the Governor wanted to take. It's a wildly misleading article and I think it may hurt your reputation to continue to support these things without even minimal research.

The crazier something sounds, the more deeply it should be looked into.

Well said. I find people tend to scrutinize things they wish were not true, and readily accept things they really want to be true.

Pot meet kettle.............If you think for one second there is any difference between republican and democrats you are a fool.

The leadership and ranks of both parties are made up of progressive scum. They sit back and laugh at the common fools arguing the talking points they put forward. They care only about power and money. Everything else is fodder for the foolish minded.

Both parties are nothing but lies and the liars they appoint to sell them.

When did Christians start going on Jihads? The Christian version of Jihad is called a Crusade. Also seeing how so many of the Republicans like to act like they are Christians it's funny how they go against something that Jesus would approve of.

- HOAX. No one 'broke into' the office. They were escorted and didn't even enter the office.
- Seriously bad source for information. Just partisan BS

I'm wondering if this thread should be moved to LOL or have 'HOAX' put into the title ??

Oh stop the partisan whining.

When Democrats did similar things in Wisconsin, it was deplorable, but you probably supported it.

When either side tries to "bully" the other like that, it is DEPLORABLE.

Politics in America should NOT be that the Loudest and the most physical should get their way, damn the opposition.

Finding common ground that both sides can tolerate really does work much better in the long run. Nowadays, the first two years a party is in control, they spend it unraveling the other sides work, not working on their own agenda even.

I am also certain that a site called Americans Against the Tea Party isn't slanted at all lol.

Republicans are Christians in name only.

A right wing Christian is a contradiction in terms. A walking parody of hypocrisy.

You see, Christ was rather leftist. I guess you could even say socialist or communist.

A very inconvenient though incontrovertible fact is that the New Testament basically advocates socialism.

Yes, I know.

Reality has a severe leftist bias.

Actually that is 100% false. Christ advocated for PEOPLE to help people, not government. If you can show me where Christ advocated for FORCING people to give to the poor whether they wanted to or not ... I will gladly look at it. If you can't, then accept you are wrong and move on.

ETA: Just so we are clear, Romney gave FAR more to Charity than Obama, not only in terms of total dollars but in terms of percentage. When you factor in taxes+charity Romney is again the leader in terms of giving money to the needy in both total dollars and percentage. Zero tax dollars going to welfare and a Republican, Romney, would still give to the poor and needy .. THAT is what Christ taught.
