My mind is so blown right now, so I can only hope to post links to back up the math and breathe deep

27 percent both ways

Eyeball 1 inch

Sphincter .27 inches

Earth 1.0 Moon .27

Does this mean there are alot more assholes in the universe than we can see?

Is this true for everybody? I think people would have different measurements in that area.

It'd be an interesting correlation if true, because I'm always on the lookout for symbolism.

Most importantly, what does it mean specifically with these two body parts in relation to the earth and moon? I'm sure there's all kinds of mathematical ratios and correlations found in the human body and in nature. Golden ratio and all.

I'll keep my eye open to see how this thread develops. I'll let it digest a while because I'm not quite sure what to make of it.

They don't call it "mooning" someone for nothing, I suppose.

Apparently it's pretty powerful stuff, historically. Maybe there is some sacred geometry going on here:

In 80, Flavius Josephus recorded the first known incident of mooning. Josephus recorded that in 66 AD, at around the beginning of the First Roman–Jewish War, a Roman soldier mooned Jewish pilgrims on their way to the Jewish Temple in Jerusalem, causing a riot, an over-response by the Roman military, and the deaths of thousands of pilgrims.

so, if you pass your eye in front of your sphincter would you see an eclipse?
I just tried and threw my back out, one of you younger members will have to try.

It's all for ATS research...go on, we won't laugh

Well, ideally then, one eyeball can keep track of how many ..

"I've got my eye on you, you a----les!"

Oh dear, I do believe it's past my bedtime, with humor like that..

S&F!

Human eye: Dimensions

The dimensions differ among adults by only one or two millimeters. The vertical measure, generally less than the horizontal distance, is about 24 mm among adults, at birth about 16–17 millimeters (about 0.65 inch). The eyeball grows rapidly, increasing to 22.5–23 mm (approx. 0.89 in) by three years of age. By age 13, the eye attains its full size. The typical adult eye has an anterior to posterior diameter of 24 millimeters, a volume of six cubic centimeters (0.4 cu. in.),and a mass of 7.5 grams (weight of 0.25 oz.).

The diameter of the eyeball is declared by wiki!

Sphincter ani externus muscle: Anatomy

Anatomy

It measures about 8 to 10 cm in length, from its anterior to its posterior extremity, and is about 2.5 cm opposite the anus, when defecation occurs the sphincter muscle retracts.

It consists of two strata, superficial and deep.

The superficial, constituting the main portion of the muscle, arises from a narrow tendinous band, the anococcygeal raphe, which stretches from the tip of the coccyx to the posterior margin of the anus; it forms two flattened planes of muscular tissue, which encircle the anus and meet in front to be inserted into the central tendinous point of the perineum, joining with the Transversus perinæi superficialis, the Levator ani, and the Bulbocavernosus.

The deeper portion forms a complete sphincter to the anal canal. Its fibers surround the canal, closely applied to the Sphincter ani internus muscle, and in front blend with the other muscles at the central point of the perineum.

In a considerable proportion of cases the fibers decussate in front of the anus, and are continuous with the Transversi perinæi superficiales.

Posteriorly, they are not attached to the coccyx, but are continuous with those of the opposite side behind the anal canal.

The upper edge of the muscle is ill-defined, since fibers are given off from it to join the Levator ani.

The size of the anal sphincter muscle is not fully declared by the wiki!

What is its diameter?

Moon/Earth Comparison
Bulk parameters

Moon Earth Ratio (Moon/Earth)
Mass (1024 kg) 0.07342 5.9726 0.0123
Volume (1010 km3) 2.1958 108.321 0.0203
Equatorial radius (km) 1738.1 6378.1 0.2725
Polar radius (km) 1736.0 6356.8 0.2731
Volumetric mean radius (km) 1737.1 6371.0 0.2727

The moon diameter and the ratio is declared by the NASA.gov website!

Since the wiki did not fully disclose the diameter of the external anal sphincter I can not verify the OP's authors data via the links supplied and hence I can not endorse the maths and reasoning currently provided.

So far the premise is a bit leaky as the result for me was crap!

I think the OP's author is stretching the ring of truth a bit too far!

I therefor have to probe the OP author more deeply
... and ask where exactly did they come up with the 6.48mm superficial anal sphincter parameter [i.e. 0.27 of 24mm]

Is this an attempt to make us measure our umm sphincters? Nah Op must be sir mix a lot seeing butts everywhere, even in the moon

I just measured my sphincter and the math is off..

It was quite a hassle. I couldn't do it by myself. My wife
didn't want to help. The lady at the Dollar Store where I
bought the tape measure and the mirror got mad at me
for even asking--like how can just asking a question be
a bad thing?

Anyway, it took awhile, but my sphincter is .32 of an inch
in the relaxed state, and 1.1136 in its dilated state.

Which means, among other things--like your math is
off by a few percent--that I could successfully pass
an eyeball, if I ever needed/decided to eat an
entire human.

You learn something everyday...
