I submit that such blanket statements are as biased as you accuse Fox viewers of being...

I really don't understand it, to be honest. I mean, I strongly dislike fox news as well. But I strongly dislike all mainstream media. The entire MSM is a big mechanism to form the context, assumptions, and norms on politics as well as many aspects of our lives. It seems that their purpose is to pre-define what is considered a 'normal' viewpoint, and then like magic almost everyone thinks that way. Not because that range of viewpoints really are the only legitimate ones, or that even really is the natural way for most people to think. But they create those norms, and then it is a self-fulfilling prophecy.
But people act like fox news SPECIFICALLY is so bad. Like anytime anyone sources fox news, people are like 'LOL yea like I'm gonna take anything fox news says seriously.' Why? I mean, it's just mainstream media...which means that there's some limit to their ability to just straight up make things up, just like any other MSM outlet, and it also means that they're going to distort thing to fit into the pre-defined narrative. Just like any other mainstream media outlet. It's slightly different, because they proclaim themselves to be 'conservative,' but that's just so that the people who consider themselves conservative have a mainstream media outlet which can condition their minds into the pre-formed mold of state-approved ideology.
My point is this. There is no reason to single out fox news specifically, as if they're just awful and all the other MSM outlets are just terrific. They're all awful. They're all trying to indoctrinate us into a pre-defined world-view, and thus they are 'bad' for free thinking. But again, this is what they all do...fox just overtly focuses on the other side of the pre-defined coin.

And they have money. And advertisers like that.
It's a business. Filling a niche.
Sometimes older is wiser, but who cares if they have money?
This is why Fox is bad. There's the truth and the facts and there's opinion pieces about those facts. A news organization should be providing facts. Fox does not do that.
Then since you say Fox is bad...you are assuming all the others DO report facts and DON'T give opinions...right? HA-HA! Whatever happened to NOT telling that something happened, being just as much of a lie as telling something incorrectly? You know...like all the other news stations do. Not telling anyone about 1/2 the crap that is really going on because it would hurt their chosen team. Fact is...there is no news that just states facts anymore. FOX included.
The other news is reporting the same stories that fox is. Fox and other radio hosts are just banking their listeners arnt gonna turn the channel and check. I jump back and forth constantly, kinda thinking it's comical.
P.s. Your right the dems do just want immigration reform because of voters. They also pretend the word corporation is inherently evil, which is ridiculous.
But on the other side voter ID is all about stopping votes. And republicans pretend like unions and Muslims are inherently evil. Which is ridiculous.
Both sides are scum bags, but the present conservative evangelicals are more dangerous. They'll use local police forces to enforce their on personal flavor of morality while twisting science and reality to fit there agenda.

And which one went to court and argued that they have no obligation to report the truth? They're all bad but Fox is the worst of the bunch, they deserve every bit of hate they get and more. This isn't some case where one of them is actually good. If each news network were a criminal CNN, ABC, MSNBC, CBS, and the rest would be rapists. Fox would be a child rapist. Even when they're all bad, some are more deserving of hate than others.

Of course FOX is hard-hitting and stronger in their approach than the others...they are one voice among four. They have to be louder.
FOX News is the most watched network news in the country.
FOX News is the most trusted network news in the country.
FOX News was the most balanced in covering Obama's first election campaign.
FOX News was more balanced than CNN and MSNBC for global warming coverage.
The idea that FOX won the "right to lie" or admitted they lied, in that lawsuit in 2003 appears to be completely false.
Or in other words: FOX DID NOT WIN THE "RIGHT TO LIE," NOR DID THEY ADMIT THEY LIED.

Brilliant! That is the whole problem. It's like they republicans are invisible to them when republicans do something bad. It's like Fox doesn't realize the the president is only one part of government and how much power congress really has. It's like the choose to ignore the wrong doings of anyone that calls themselves a republican. why is that?
And then why are they so hateful and angry and mean...like O'Rielly, Hannity, Coulter, Limbaugh and the rest of them? Does fox just hire mentally ill people with Anger management issues that don't have a grasp on reality? Inquiring minds want to know!

I think it's more than just a disagreement on politics. FOX News attracts the racists, homophobes, xenophobes, religious extremists, and anti-science crowd. There is so much ridiculousness there. This is why it's so popular. It appeals to the lowest level, and sadly, we have a lot of that here in this country. For FOX News to be successful, means a turn for the worse in humanity, and that's why people hate it. Not to mention they fought for their right to lie... Basically a HORRIBLE news station.

I doubt you realize it but you actually kind of have a point here. Liberals basically tend to believe anyone who isn't a liberal has no right to their own opinion. All of the people you listed may indeed be horrible people but they have a right to their own opinions. Liberals believe if you cover ugly things up they don't exist but this is patently untrue.
Anyway, Fox tends to attract anyone who doesn't like liberals because it's really the only place you won't find many of them. It's amazing that people who believe in censorship are pointing their fingers at anyone else.
If there was a halfway decent alternative to Fox that wasn't blatantly socialist/Marxist, it would attract a lot of libertarians.
