Any chance this image could have been taken by the green lady?

There was what is believed to be a Block IV KH-11 in the area at the time, so probably not.

In a lot of ways that's even more exciting/exotic than the Green Lady. It's certainly faster and more expensive...

an interesting note on the DSP network replacements is the fact that POHIR(Persistent Over Head InfraRed) surveillance is now a thing

as far as the pic in the post above it is said to be about 10cm/pixel and that is betting close to the limit of what we can do with normal light and normal mirrors.

The NRO launched one of its new generation of spy sats recently and so that makes me wonder if they are imaging in UV or something higher on the EM band or if they were able to make a perfect mirror

Hi Zaphod , im based in the British Channel Islands and was wondering if it may be a similar thing we have seen . A few weeks back we were sitting in the garden at night . I saw a fixed light traveling south of us east to west . At first I thought it was a satalite. No noise , high altitude , fixed light but then it turned north along what would be the Normandy coast. I’ve seen it 3 times now and always on a similar flight path. There was also no vapor trail ( were on the main approach to LGW so see plenty of big aircraft

Watch this space. There may be an interesting development. Nothing is set in stone, but I heard an interesting rumbling going on.

If anything it will be a little posturing, nothing like a full reveal or anything like that. Dark grey.

So are we looking at green lady, RQ-180 or B21....or maybe going down the “Companion” rabbit hole again...?!? a reply to: B2StealthBomber

I wonder what might it be. Interesingly, Zaphod mentioned that in this thread. Now we have talked about many planes here so we can just guess now...

They're going to let slip ... [gulp]

... the B-17G really did have turbosupercharged radial engines ...

Seriously, I hope the "prediction" is on the money and something interesting is revealed.

Cheers
