Nice avatar. Spaceshuttle reentry?

You know theres a name that got thrown around a lot back in the day that went from doesnt exist. To name of an aircraft. To umbrella name for overall funding for classified aerospace or something. The name may have never actually existed. But, if it was actually used, i would use it to describe a propulsion technology and not an aircraft since the name has more in common with similar phenomena related.. Id say that propulsion technology has matured and may be in more widespread usage soon.

Is this the same name that gets you a kick in the shin by Zaph when you mention it in terms other than jokingly?

Would it cover the aircraft in a green "glow" and was also rumoured to give the B2 better aerodynamics in its earlier inception.

Crazy bassplyr unfounded speculation time:

Would work great on a B2-A or a B21 with different configuration on the hardwear up front.

Could see the technical difficulties needed to overcome northrops electrostatic tech that i believe served a duel purpose. Increase the wings lift so the bomber could fly higher and with more than her disclosed payload. The other part were talking about would massively increase range and reduce some other things.

If it werent for both systems arguing over the needed "stuff" up front it would be a perfect blend of stealth, penetration and range. Could also see what a pain in the ass merging them would have taken to work out. But if you could...oh man! B21 must be awesome. Granted they got the two systems to work out simultaniously without crashing the bird through management mishaps in flight.

Personally one of the best things youd want for this system if slow moving would be a higher alt and cold air.

For high speed aircraft like fighters. Id want to merge it with advent and use that bypassed supersonic and freezing air to "shutdown" rapidly something....which does something very useful.

And use it on j58 style turbojets for mind numbing speed.......and range....and other things. Lots of other things.

So that gets wondering. Assume both the lockbo and the northrop entries had the same tech on the powerplant and propulsion. Both got stupid range, efficiency and obviously neither are slouches in stealth.

I say northrops electrostatic tech gives their b21 added cieling hight for a flying wing-ish aircraft and more payload than disclosed (maybe) along with dielectrics for things like optical and radar thwarting increasing survivability in heavily contested airspace.

But whats the lockbo advantage? Same range, maybe more speed and stealth? More dependable design and usage of tech.

Maybe good for a sensor shooter escort for b21s. And maybe have a 6th gen fighter (or drone gaurd dog) on the side to take out interceptor threats on the bombers as part of the strike package.

Lockbo bird goes in first opens the path and keeps an eye out. Stealthy B21 raiders with a few anti fighter/ interceptor escorts come in to do the job. All three egress target together.

Also if the b21 has merged the two techs i say make a few big sisters to the b21 that truley replace the b52 and b2. While the b21 does light/medium bomber roll. Like a bigger much much more capable f117.

The B1 i think already has a active replacement and wonder if that replacement didnt go into the lockbo entries design considerations for "already proven aircraft design and technology."

That would give lockbo 3 bombers in lrsb family. Pgs (limited strike n very fast), lrsb sensor shooter escort (was their lrsb 21 entry based off b1 replacement), b1 replacement (also maybe called a "lrsb" from back in the day. )

Northrop two bombers- b21(bigger more capable f117 roll ), b21 big sister (true replacement for b2) .

Now to figure out which one of the above hypotheticals was the oversized fighter i saw in broad daylight over los angeles last year. Looked like a giant f23/ lrsb lockbo entry hybrid and similar to what pumpkin saw flying also in daylight over central california. If it were up to me id give whatever that was a F designation instead of a B.

Ok crazy bassplyr spec finished.

I think tr3b is his most hated. But he probably hates the aurora name too.

Also i think zaphod might have a small doll that resembles me that he sticks needles into and then throws to his dogs to chew on.

But back to greenlady.

Is she just one manifestation of this technology? Is she stealthier than we persume?

Are there a few other pointy things than reconn planes out there. Like some of the above hypothetical and speculated lockheed designs?

Is green going to be more prevelant in all platforms?

If technology works the way i think it does than would that also be a good reason for less demand for a KC replacement (although still needed) and less demand for forward bases in the future? Less vulnerability to russia and chinas half baked battle plans or thwarting them largely? Are we way ahead of the game? Way more than were letting on. Does that make china and russia even further behind than the public knows? I hope so.

You've missed the following:

1) The Green Lady MAY use Boron-Laced ZIP Fuel
or Methane or Ammonium mixture for speed and range!

2) The Green Lady May use Electro-Magneto-Plasmadynamics Technology for:
--- a) Virtual Wing Surfaces created by Microwave-cooked Plasma Discharge
--- to direct the aircraft.

--- b) Creation of a Virtual Aerospike to reduce acoustic signature
--- (aka sonic boom) by shaping the shock front in front of the
--- entire aircraft OR just the engine inlets.

--- c) Twisting the incoming air into a vortex into a
--- cyclone-like virtual compressor stage.

--- d) Using the Plasma to keep the laminar airflow STICKING
--- around the hull so that PWDE (Pulse Wave Detonation Engine)
--- or Virtual ScramJet may be created.

--- e) Have the plasma become a radar-absorbing or radar-bending
--- plasma sheath for radar stealth purposes.

--- f) Use the plasma to push the atmosphere out of the way to increase speed!

3) The green lady is one of six possible designs:

--- a) Long and Pointy like 1950's/1960's era Stilleto X-3 research plane
--- b) a giant delta wing with the engines hidden like the B2 bomber.
--- c) A giant parobola similar to a water skim-board.
--- d) An updated version of the Concorde.
--- e) A polygon diamond shape with possibly a split-wing structure.
--- f) A giant discoid with counter-rotating turbo-fan like blades.

4) The Green Lady Flies East over to North Korea and Southern China
and West to Afghanistan, Pakistan and overtop Syria/Yemen
with a refueling stop probably on Diego Garcia, Near Aviano Italy
or in Spain, Portugal, Turkey or Uzbekistan.

5) The Green Lady is probably more than 20 years old and is being replaced
into an ugraded version of the 1980's/1990's era "Brilliant Buzzard" or
"Senior Citizen" plane with manned X-37c spaceplane launch capability.

6) The Green Lady has two companion aircraft that are already flying.
--- a) a very stealthy small delta wing for ECM and C4SIR.
--- basically a flying television and radio station.

--- b) a Larger really fast attack aircraft similar to an F-111b
--- possibly a swing-wing for bombing and cruise missile
--- carry and launch operations - probably a LOT stealthier
--- and much longer range than F-22.

7) The Green lady is probably either:
--- a) a high-resolution panoramic still and video
--- camera platform replacing the SR-71.

--- b) the first stage of a two-stage-to-orbit aircraft
--- used to launch a version of the size and shape
--- of the X-37b but having MANNED capability for
--- delivery of personnel to a very small Air Force
--- Space Station disguised as a Corona or Keyhole
--- -sized type of spy satellite used mostly for
--- space-based materials research and manned recon.

8) The Green Lady can probably go faster than 3400 MPH (5000 KMH+)

---

I think that about covers it!

Was there anything else I missed?

Damn, my head hurts after trawling through all the bunk on the last few pages.

@Zaph Is there anything the staff can do to maitain the integrity of perhaps one of the best threads that ATS has been graced with in recent history?

---

Careful what you wish for.....who is to say what
some of the crazies on here espouse may or
may not actually KNOW!

Maybe they did in fact work on tiny Desert-Hawk like drones
or a high-flying precursor to the RQ-170. Maybe they DID
research and write-up the perfromance characteristics
of the SR-71 for new roles or really did fuel-up that
fancy but tiny F-117 ECM companion aircraft.

And who IS to say that one of my friends really
doesn't have the world's fastest supercomputer
(119 ExaFLOPS fully Opto-Electronic) or that
an elderly team IS actually building the world's
largest space cargo lifter after retiring from
ESA and CSA?!

And who IS to say that I actually DIDN'T just recently
design a very cool and FAST large-integer-factoring
program that has actually BROKEN AES-256 and
therefore not only will I be releasing the passwords
to all the WIKILEAKS Insurance Files but ALSO releasing
ALL of the 9481 PDF files archive that is the encrypted
SECRET PATENTS LIST that I received almost five years ago?

So WHO ARE YOU to specifically DENY a voice such
as I or any NUMBER of other ATS contributors who
actually MAY know what they're talking about?

If you DENY ME, then you DENY THEM and THAT is not
only fascist-like but is ALSO an affront against "Free Speech"
and "The Press" (of which I could be considered a member
due to my education!) and while I AM CANADIAN....
THIS IS AMERICA and your desire to rid me of my
PUBLIC voice is a travesty against the Number One
article in the amendments to the Constitution!

---

Sometimes Secrets ARE the problem.
And THIS SITE showcases them outright
and/or allows OTHERS to gather the individual
pieces to shine a big light on an ugly darkness !!!!

This is an interesting enigma, the green color. Even supposing the power plant is some form of TBCC it doesn´t help with the color. Nor with the focused like exhaust. Just fantasizing it may have some additive to the fuel that gets ionized (plasma combustor) in order to have an excess of charge in the process and then it is passed through an MHD accelerator increasing thrust without doing so with fuel consumption. What element could get bright green without combusting it but via discharge ionization of its electrons?

Really bright green in an exhaust streak still smells like boranes to me.

Plasma actuators seem to look purple and are much less bright.

Do you really want me to bring up the microwave-from-the-ground
or high energy beam powered from the ground type of propulsion
system so no on-board or only a SMALL onboard powerplant is used?

Or do you want me to list all of that 1960/1970's
North American Corp's and General Atomics Corp's
research on Field Effects Propulsion or even
Directed Energy Jetting propulsion systems?

Or do you want me to include the pulsed ionization
of a gas or fluid which is then jetted out the back
as a means of propulsion?

Or maybe I should outline the ability to superheat the air in front
of an aircraft on a pulsed basis to create a super-cavitation or vacuum bubble
which the aircraft is "INGESTED" into on a computer-initiated periodic basis
for thrust? aka the aircraft is "sucked along" its designated path of flight.

Or should I highlight the ability to use plasma to create an arcing discharge
that causes the atmosphere itself to create and wrap a "Virtual Tornado"
around an aircraft pushing or pulling it along a given route within a
vortex tube?

or should I hesitantly outline using extremely heavy elements
that are spun about at high pressure and temperature within
a globular or toroidal structure thus creating near-superluminal
vortices at Planck's level scales that PREVENT ANY of the
Earth's waves (RF, MM, Light, Gravity) from penetrating
objects enclosed within said craft at the angle-of-influence
being shielded?

....OR FINALLY....using high-temperature and highspeed electrical
arcing to create powerful EM fields to such a level that local
Euclidian space is distorted/shrunk and then immediately traversed
by said craft where the distorted local field is undistorted and unshrunk
for re-entry into normal Euclidian space?

Am I getting close and closer to what you're looking for ?????
