Let's say he is telling the truth.

Let's further say that you and others are right about Fox News.

Should terrorist organisations be allowed to broadcast?

Are you advocating the shut-down of Fox News? After all, they are (according to you) a terrorist organization.

One group advocates killing the terrorists as the means to ending terrorism, and on television they say their views with a theatrical flare.

The other group advocates socialism and setting free all the terrorists and giving them money and aid.

The leader of ISIS was one of the terrorists who we released from prison and later funded, who now leads an army of people beheading all who disagree or get in their way to taking over an entire country from which to terrorize the rest of the world.

Russel Brand thinks the latter is a good thing, and rather than equating that with terrorism - equates a few more theatrical people on television (who would like to stop terrorism on a permanent basis) as being worse than those who actually behead innocent people for enjoyment...

what is worse? Killing the bad guys? Or killing innocent farmers and poor people and children?

Now, what is worse is to kill the bad guys... the world is truly upside down when people feel that way...

Beezzer...!!!

Its a good question. Do we need the likes of Fox News. In my humble opinion no we do not. I am all up for Free Speech but Free speech is something granted to people. Not puppet organisations that are nothing but spoke voices for corporations and banks.

We do not need these outdated society dominate structures anymore. They are not causing us any good.... Give the voice back to the common man. The common man does not have a beef with peeps half across the world...

So you're okay with calling Fox News a terrorist organization and silencing them, because of their extremist views.

Okay.

Thank you for replying.

So...advocating bombing a group like ISIS when the elected leader of the country has requested it is terrorism. Wow. Just wow. I'm not saying that I agree with the people that want to do that, but I understand their position, and calling it terrorism is, quite frankly, absolutely ridiculous.

As for calling all Christian Fundamentalists terrorists, what criteria are we using? See, I've not seen many fundamentalist Christians advocating for murdering people to gain political control simply because said people exist or have different beliefs. I've seen many advocate killing Islamic radicals that burn American flags and threaten to kill Westerners or who routinely engage in things like "honor killings" and the butchering of ethnic and religious minorities. I've seen them call for the bombing of Iraq when lied to about it from the government.

You are overextending the word terrorist to demonize people that don't agree with you politically, and that's not okay. Ever.

Carpet bombing people will not kill the bad guys. It will kill people. It will kill women, children and men and it will make more terrorists...

We have bombed the heck out of the country already and it has not worked and you want to advocate bombing it again. Heck that is a sign of madness doing the same thing again and expecting different results.

There is no them and us. There are not good people and bad people there is only us and the sooner we learn that lesson the better...

Sorry, I didn't explain myself properly Purp......or you missed the bit where I said it's as though he woke up one morning having had a brain transplant....I also said I agreed with much of his views, and it's clear he is intelligent.

It's the whole overnight transformation that is deeply sus to me. And as I added, it's his interview with Paxman that set my spider senses off. He just doesn't come over as genuine in his beliefs.......or is some sort of Manchurian/MKUltra plant. I know that sounds far fetched, but it's the only way I can try to explain the huge almost overnight flip in the man.

Kind of like "you're either with us or against us" we all heard for how many years. Frankly, I'm tired of hearing anything that starts with "...Liberals think / say / believe / etc." because it's just simple minded vomit.

Terrorist is strong for Fox, I admit. The true terrorists are fear mongering chumps on any side who demonize their political opposites and enforce a systematic shakedown culture for anybody who might think a tad differently.

There are not bad people? No bad people in the world? No psychopaths who kill innocent people?

None... you live in a world where people never get murdered?

You can read my views on HOW to kill the terrorists on page 1... however... since there are no psychopaths in your world I am sure you wont mind if I take them out of mine.

well that is simply a matter of opinion. Heck when the leader of one of the most powerful military forces decides to invade and occupy a country because God told him to do it. I have a problem that is fundamentalism there is no dicing hairs about it. Its messed up.

Iraq was invaded under the false pretense that they had weapons of mass destitution. We all know that now is not true.

So answer me this simple question. What in Gods name did a million Iraqi women and children die for. 1 million people bombed into freedom. Because some messed up leader decided to go to war on a whim.

So yes wanting to bomb them again and again and again is supporting terrorism. Like it or lump it thats the truth of it...

Is it wrong that my first thought was about how simplistic of a view that is?

Granted, I come from a country that wouldn't exist if it had not managed to win a defensive war...

I would rather live in a world where people understood enough to see what fox news is for themselves. A social psychological tool of the leading elite. Thenadleast people could make a fair informed decisions....

i'm pretty sure he's not advocating global socialism..and i don't think he's controlled. he is onto something, and they don't hafta kill him, because it's a lot easier, and safer for them, to marginalize/minimize him, by pointing out that he's "just a commedian", and used to have a drug problem, which has maybe damaged him....
