In that pic, you can see more of the "dimples," which were where they placed the props that held up the stone while the underlying stone was being shaped to fit it.

I do agree that is interesting. So those marks bring you to envision dozens of men holding up the stone with some type of pillars? I am trying to understand why they are there, but it doesn't change much to the overall realization that antiquity built something extraordinary, or that it was mysterious (not from this earth).
"These were the mighty men that were of old, the men of renown."
And began to injure birds, beasts, reptiles, and fishes, to eat their flesh one after another, and to drink their blood.
"And there we saw the Nephilim, the sons of Anak, who come from the Nephilim; and we seemed to ourselves like grasshoppers, and so we seemed to them."
"For only Og the king of Bashan was left of the remnant of the Rephaim; behold, his bedstead was a bedstead of iron
The Emim formerly lived there, a people great and many, and tall as the Anakim
The Anakim/Anakites were a formidable race of giant, warlike people
And Joshua came at that time, and wiped out the Anakim from the hill country, from Hebron, from Debir, from Anab, and from all the hill country of Judah, and from all the hill country of Israel; Joshua utterly destroyed them with their cities.
