This Ain't Your Daddy's Cigarette

Hmmm, this thread reminds me of something I read on here(ATS) a few years back about a new chemical being added to ciggarettes, the purpose for the additional chemical was for smokes to go out if you didnt puff as frequently and was done so to stop fires from starting from cigarette butts that werent extinguished properly or the drunk holding his smoke passes out and drops his smoke on the carpet and burns the place down.

The scary picture that was painted was when the studies were done to see the effects of the chemical on biology that it was a very high percentage of subjects developed tumors and oter cancerous types of sickness.

The studies were done on rats or guinee pigs and the timing of the addition of the chemical co- insides with a massive quit campain ramped up in Australia ove the last few years, not sure about if the quit campains have become more promonent and wide spread overseas.
