Today's story revolves around a young man called Fox (who's identity has been altered for his safety) and his story of his experience with the group
infamously known as the 'insiders'. Here is the unaltered transcript of his heart braking tale:
“Well it all started when my ex girlfriend stole the remote and started watching TMZ. Then I heard about how a celebrity's loose fitting garments
meant that she was pregnant, and according to an insider, the maid told him that she had morning sickness, so the rumors were somehow confirmed. It
was fun, mindless drivel at the time-but I was young and reckless and didn't know any better."
"But as time went by, the insiders got a firm grip on me, and soon enough they were everywhere-in my video games, in my politics, and even in my food.
Everywhere I turned there was an anonymous insider, and I couldn't shake them. At my lowest point they were even telling me that the government was
working with reptilians to build giant holograms to take over the world in 2012. At that stage I knew I needed help to rid myself of this
affliction."
"And I did. I am now a healthy man who ignores the lure of insiders and focuses on more credible sources for information, and I am no longer tempted
by the lure of insiders and their false promises and quick fixes.”
Sadly, Fox's tale is only one of many, so if you know anyone that may be suffering from Insider Dependance Syndrome, contact a specialist and help us
stamp out IDS for good.
Sorry about my approach to this rant, I had one of my De Bono hats on. Everything that Fox said was true- Many 'journalists' base stories on rumors
or 'sources' to generate interest and little regard is given to the credibility or even the existence of these 'sources'. To be honest I believe some
of these journalists inside sources are little more than imaginary friends, or actual friends with an active imagination.
Something about these 'insiders' doesn't sit right with me...
