Logic does not have room for fragile Human emotion. God would not care to have a deep emotional bond with Humans because we are emotional and irrational. Simply put, God would be closer to Spock than to Bones or Kirk. A God with the power to create all we know about in the Universe really would not care if you are having a bad day and probably would not spare the resources to help you out when he is busy making trees grow and causing stars to implode into black holes....it simply is not a logical use of energy.
