People who say "Don't want pregnacy?! Don't have sex!"

They annoy me.

Telling a woman to stop having sex/don't have sex is bogus. It never works. Religion tells it's bad to have sex before marriage. Doesn't work. Parent tell kids not to have sex. Doesn't work. What makes you think when you say "don't have sex" is going to work?

All humans are biology coded with sex instincts. If you haven't notice. Why you think there are so many of us? Because humans like sex and it's in our genes to like it and want it.

Just because a woman doesn't want pregnancy doesn't mean they should stop having sex. It just means they should use protection for safety measures. Sex isn't a crime or a legal consent for another human to use their bodies.

It's always easier to criticize others with such hypocritical advice no one would ever follow themselves.

Ignore the prudes .. sex is normal natural and healthy ..
Not to mention there are plenty of safeguards to avoid pregnancy .. or if they fail theres adoption .

I, in all honesty, could careless what people do or how they plan their life but I will have to say the states and governments sure do like to regulate that stuff.

True .. would have loved to have had kids of my own .. but thanks to uncle scam spraying agent orange ended up sterile so adopted kids ..

So the problem being that we train our kids to not have sex and they come to the party unprepared.

If you carry condoms you intend to have sex and that would be bad. So swear off sex and don't carry condoms to show what control you have.

Not a he-man woman hater, but all to often I have had my significant other use sex as a weapon.

I've been celibate for over a decade now and I'm pretty happy.

Do I shun women? Not at all, but literally every woman I have dated during those ten years turns out to have been married. I'm not that kind of guy.

I guess I waited to long for the perfect mate...but from what I see, women are facing the same problem.

But I get it...yes, birth control is a good thing. unwanted babies is sad overall, and unplanned family by poorer people make for broken homes and broken people.

Yes I too find it annoying when they say "Don't want a kid, don't have sex."

While yes there are ways of having wonderful orgasms without actually having sex, sex is still something enjoyable and for some people, it helps to bond & cement the relationship.

My Mom didn't forbid us to have sex, instead she told us all about condoms, birth control & STD's. She said that "If a guy can't be bothered to put on a condom, then don't have sex with him. After all, a guy can easily bow out of a pregnancy but the girl is the one who has the hard choices to make. Do you think you could handle having an abortion?"

My older sister did have to abort a baby because she & the baby daddy were doing drugs at the time & the baby daddy was a drug dealer. To this day she still subconsciously morns the child, even though she knows it was the right thing to do.

The thing that bothers me about abstaining from sex to avoid unwanted pregnancy is the connection to Christian beliefs.

These religious leaders tell you to save sex for marriage but allow for no intermediary relief from this basic instinct. You aren't allowed to get the bad out or lust after a hottie or watch porn or whatever does the trick for you. You must ask for forgiveness and repent after you give in to the sin of self pleasuring done simply to empty the tank and get over the urge.

Sorry but that's just common sense.

If you have sex, you run the risk of pregnancy.
That's what sex was designed for.
If you want to be 100% sure not to get pregnant ... then don't screw around.
If you want to be mostly sure not to get pregnant ... then use protection.
But either way ... sex = pregnancy risk.
