AHem those equal rights for all UNITED STATES CITIZENS AND LEGAL VISITORS. NOT FOR ILLEGALS/INVADERS.

They are breaking the law. It is a felony. and felonies can end up in capital punishment. SO maybe we should do like the Germans and put them on railcars and send them as far south as the train lines go?

The mexicans have just about stopped coming over the border mostly. Now its the countries below mexico. WHy dont we give mexican authorities money and equipment to control their southern border? Build bases there and help them patrol that border. OR help them build a DMZ ZONE and a no mans land except for designated crossings? Its worked well for NK/SK so far.

Of course I'm mad at the companies that hire them. I never said I wasn't. It doesn't excuse the illegals from breaking the law repeatedly to be and stay here. They have to take personal responsibility for that.

And they may not have a pay check, some of them not all, they spend the money they make here, in the US. They are getting taxed and contributing to those programs just like everyone else. Especially if they take their family with them.

Still isn't the same thing as coming in your home and physically taking money or items from you. Not even close

How many illegals do you know?

Because I have worked with and knew quite a few. They move 4, 5, 6 families into a house and split the rent so none of them have to pay much, they destroy the house because you have 20-25 people living in a place designed for 4-5.

Because they split the rend 5-6 way it's extremely cheap to live, and 80% of their money gets sent back to Mexico to their families there.

Yeah they spend SOME of their money here but the majority goes to Mexico.

Most try to get jobs that pay cash because they can't get hired through anywhere that uses the "e-verify" system so none of that money is taxed.

Many have fake ID's and SS cards through identity theft that are used to get jobs with, another crime committed.

Then there are the ones that file fraudulent tax returns and claim every child whether in the home or not and get back $10,000 - $15,000 in tax refunds (you can Google that issue)

Overall the majority DO NOT pay taxes, and DO NOT spend the money in our economy.

Throw in with that the food stamps, free medical, housing assistance, free education and other social programs a they take advantage of.

You can also Google how many hospitals in the Southwest have went out of business because of the illegals having babies there and not paying their bills.....MANY hospitals literally had go out of business.

But hey, they came here looking for a better life.......I guess they found it.

Well said. They are certainly taken care of and doing well. I know some that have returned to their own Countries well off from saving money from here. Our money is worth s much more in their own Country. They come right out and tell you they have no desire to stay here. Not all, but many.

They start off breaking the law just coming here and continue with fraud while they are here scamming the system. It's terrible.

Excellent! All part of the plan!!!

Using illegal immigrants as an excuse, now states can have military walking the streets and drones flying all over (looking for illegals, papers please) and it'll be accepted by all the population!

Well played, Obama.

Well played.

Since the guy grew the US military up during his terms only for the next guy to GUT it.

Yes and his out of control military spending raised our national debt 160%. Where was the people crying how are our kids going to pay for this? Also what was he growing our military for? We were not at war with anyone it was more taxpayer money being wasted for the the people that bought his way into office. And I guess you forgot the next President was Bush Sr. so are you going to whine about how the republicans gutted the military now?

REAGAN STARTED IT ! LOOL.

When did representative and senators start signing things into law? Like you are fond of saying about Obama "he signed it he owns it".

Ok care to explain the other 6 ?

Some were passed by Clinton the others by Bush. Ever hear of something called a history book?

Not confused. Perry is playing his part perfectly!

To add; If Obama okay's the release of troops, then I might be on to something.

You use a few dozen of these:

Argus Drones

They can track a whole metropolitan area.

Then for each Argus, you have half a dozen predator drones ready to take out verified illegals on spot.

Border secured.

No need for 1,000 troops.

You do this and within a year the Mexicans will be figuring out something else, but they sure as heck won't be risking a well known suicide mission.

There will be thousands more illegals, troops walking the streets, drones in the skies, and the people will be happy because it'll look like the government is doing something.

What people don't/won't realize is that it was the government that created the problem in the first place.

Brilliant, actually.

The republicans look good, the democrats look good, the masses think that "their" side is doing what is right, and in reality, we all lose just a little more freedom.

But gee-golly! Won't we all feel safer!

Add a dose of false flag attack on the U.S mainland and we can do away with just losing a little freedom to complete police state.

Why waste anymore time.

Come to think of it I haven't seen the border patrol in my neck of the desert in a long time when I use to see them every week.

I have thought of leaving here and moving to Italy (duel citizenship) but I know that this is going to happen to all the major countries so I figure I will just kick back and watch from some local mountain top with a martini in one hand and my wife in my other.

Why does he want Obama to come there he doesn't need Obama's ok to call up the guard in Texas he is their commander in chief. Also as far as drones go if police forces can buy them I see no reason why the state of Texas can't buy them as well. The American taxpayers shouldn't pay for drones for Texas they can pay for them themselves. Maybe he should start acting like a Governor and do his job instead of crying to Obama every time he has a problem.

So are you saying it sucks to be a State along the border, so just deal with it? I guess my big question would be how should they deal with it? Can they set up temporary concentration camps? Hire cowboys on horse back to round them up? Do a door to door 100% ID check on everyone in the State? Shoot the runners?

Can they start their own worker visa program? Can they build a security wall and man it, can they fly a drone fleet to follow and apprehend, can they actually enforce the laws and make life extremely sucky for those that decide to come into Texas?

You know for a few 100k a pop they can put up a drone that can fly for 20 hours at about 80 miles per hour on about 3 gallons of gas. With the capabilities of picking out a person within a few miles along its path.

People don't move very quickly, so all they would need to do is identify then periodically check up on them to determine where would be the best place to park the bus. If we were talking a few 100 miles of border and 5 miles deep with constant surveillance the cost would be minimal compared to many of these other platforms.

I second the land mine idea. If you can't get into America legally, tough luck. Could you imagine if roles were reversed? And Millions of Americans flocked towards mexico? Something tells me they wouldn't be having it.

Just gonna add this last bit and then I'll be done with the thread.
Equal rights are for ALL PEOPLE and the SCOTUS has backed that for centuries
All men are created equal remember, regardless of where you were born or where you come from.

Sorry to all those that think it is only the citizens, that is why we have that big statue in the NY.

Sorry folks, we have been asking to take these people for a long time!
These people that are coming over today do not have the same option that your ancestors that came over on a boat and went thru Ellis island had.Far more difficult process, just a money grab, and these people do not have the money at that point, damn vicious circle setting them up to fail.
Remember what this country was founded by immigrants and revolutionist, small detail tho right?
Go to you local casino if you need to be reminded who was here before them too. Or who was here when we bought the land when we started expanding from the east. This land that we are all on has gone by many different names, United States is just the most recent.
Our own goverement and companies prefer them to be undocumented they are the ROOT of the problem.
With out the opportunities constantly being offered to them, we wouldn't have this problem.
Why do those same opportunities not get offered to US citizens? Great question, start a thread about it and we can talk about what is and what is not offered.
Yes they break laws, just as much as the american citizens do tho. Its not like they are the back bone of the multi billion dollar ID theft industry. Not the white collar us citizen criminals, nope no way.
No way our own citizens abuse the very social programs to the very same extend that the illegals do. The government ALLOWS it to happen cause the fat cats make the money off of it.

Oh and as far as why they are doing to our econmoy, our rich and powerful have done FAR more if we talk dollar amount then they have. You talk about sending money out and not paying taxes. Watch the documentary "we're not broke" and see how many of top grossing companies DON'T PAY TAXES. We all know about off shore tax havens and the billions that go over there. The money getting sent to mexico is pennies in comparison, maybe even less.
And that is if they don't get all their family over which is more common.
Our own goverment and companies are the damn problem

www.huffingtonpost.com... well a rep from new mexico allready tried the land mine idea

(AP) - The Republican nominee for a northern New Mexico congressional seat suggested during a radio interview that the United States could place land mines along the Mexican border to secure the international boundary. Asked Monday to clarify, Tom Mullins emphasized that he does not advocate doing so. "I am not suggesting we do that," he told The Associated Press. Mullins said border security came up during a radio interview last month, when he was campaigning for the GOP nod to run against Rep. Ben Ray Lujan, D-N.M. Mullins subsequently won the primary on June 1. During the May 18 interview with KNMX radio in Las Vegas, N.M., Mullins said the U.S. could mine the border, install barbed wire and post signs directing would-be border jumpers to cross legally at designated checkpoints. "We could put land mines along the border. I know it sounds crazy. We could put up signs in 23 different languages if necessary," Mullins says in the radio interview, where he also expressed concern that terrorists could carry a nuclear weapon across the Mexican border.

i guess he didnt actually try to implement it just that he had heard about it while he was campaigning so at least the idea's been thrown out there before

www.abovetopsecret.com... ats thread on the matter

www.debate.org... old debate on building a wall.

good plan by perry to get Obama on site so he cant claim he didnt know about it,seems that no one option will stop it as if you build a wall they tunnel under it(and i would assume the aforementioned mines) i guess texas could try to re route water and make some kind of moat near their side of the border and then fill it with alligators then declare the area a sanctuary and make killing said alligators illegal and then have them be the old fashioned moat police but as the rio grande does not stop them i doubt a improvised moat would.

They have money to cross the border. They have money to steal identities and for fraudulent documents. They DO have money.

As for the statue of Liberty, it was a gift from another Country and things are completely different today. It is no longer the land of opportunity or a rich Nation. We are trillions of dollars in debt.

Sorry folks, we have been asking to take these people for a long time!

Um, no we haven't. Our government and greedy corporations have.

Now you're bringing the Native Americans into this. Just so that you know, I have some Native American ancestory and one of the tribes were nearly wiped out, not by the white guys, but by another tribe. You see, Native Americans warred with each other over food and land too. If we didn't take the land, someone else would have, whether other tribes or another Country.

The money sent out of the Country by illegals is billions of dollars.

Night Star, I applaud your honesty and clarity.

I could "tell you stories" ( and believe I shared a recent one involving an intruder on another thread) as someone who lives in rural South Texas first hand but honestly, no one "wants to hear it" because it rarely suits the "woe is me/ the poor children" visuals that the media is currently perpetrating.

Today's local new depicts a "toddler" who supposedly crossed over alone. Really? Did he crawl across? Please.

Also info on a "graveyard" that was discovered last month in rural South Texas. The turth of that one is yes, sadly people do die/ but are also murdered by coyotes when they cannot or won't pay. Or by the cartels when they've done their dirty-work.The small town is having to absorb the costs of a decent burial (the remains are numbered and buried) and it's putting a burden on the residents.

There is MUCH more to these stories, as there usually is.

I will also add this: has anyone considered there may already BE a "public health concern" and this is just icing over in case "something is needed or happens" and it usually comes down to "funding" down the line? Perry is covering his butt.

Not all who are crossing are indigent: they also come for "health care" under the umbrella of "someone who lives here" and I have first-hand knowledge of this. Hospitals have "provisions in place" particularily in the areas of childbirth and female-related cancers to "accept patients" who are not "legal/cannot afford to pay". They get all necessary care provided and no mention of "returning home" is made...because the hospitals collect money from the government for the care.PLUS...and this is classic...the person (in this case, their daughter who is NOT legal but her two kids ARE) gets a monthly "stipend" for being a "caregiver" as they have no one else/cannot work while receiving treatment. It's a thing of poetry BUT as long as anyone living in the house is "legal" ie the children, this can work...and work fairly well for people.

They can also aply for a "Lonestar Card" (EBT) under the "legal" kid's name for groceries and whatnot. And do...and some even drive over the border with those groceries for the day. It's all documented and the subject of many "expose's" here currently as well and most of us knowing of severa situationsl first-hand.

Gone are the days when you could get hard-working honest labor or day-labor to work on a ranch who WOULD send most of their money back home, the "new breed" doesn't want or have to work.

You can also obtain false or stolen ID fairly "easily" here from what I am told. They recently apprehended a couple coming back into the US with hundreds of credit cards stolen from here in Texas. They then get a credit card with this identity which is promptly maxed out. Ahhhhh....but you can then destroy that identity and buy a new one and voila, the cirle of "life" continues.

Do you truly think there is a lot of "incentive" to acquire citizenship, job-skills, and build a life as a "resident" when you immediately are "given to" upon crossing?

I am not saying all. I'm just saying.
