The whole idea is to destabilize the region and keep it that way. As long as they fight amongst themselves they can't unite against the common foe. Divide and rule.

One fighter in here states the impression his American handlers in Qatar gave him was that they didn't want any one to "win", just keep on fighting.

Yes its front-line, but unusual for them to be so truthful. Verrry revealing.

IRAQI MILITANTS SEIZE 2 MORE BORDER CROSSINGS


BAGHDAD (AP) -- Iraqi military officials say Sunni militants have captured two border crossings, one with Jordan and another with Syria, as they press on with their offensive in one of Iraq's most restive regions.

The officials said the militants on Sunday captured the Turaibil crossing with Jordan and the al-Walid crossing with Syria after government forces there pulled out.
