In the UK there is an organisation called Liberty. In many ways its name is even been picked so as to make it seem unattackable, because then to question it would be to question liberty: something which no one would want to do with everyones lives. But this organisation is not as it seems. It isn't a human rights organisation generally: as it is supposed to be. It is more about continual pressure to get more and more racial quotas, so that the standards have been lowered for all races except white ones. In many ways in these times it is the vision of one power mad women: Shami Chakrabarti. This woman brought grants to employers who would hire people from prison meaning that curently people who are not criminals are disadvantaged insomuch as finding a job. She wants books in prisons while the libraries shut meaning that many poor children do not have the chance of a library and all the many facilities which these now offer.

But these organisations inthe UK: many become think tanks also called policy institutes and they become inseperable from government and so becomes another unelected power that people have to deal with. So how do we get back freedom from this and other power mad organisations which hide under a cloak of apparent helpfullness?

I suppose there are many such powerful unelected organisations. What do we do so that votes count again?

Are those really the most awful and terrible examples of things Liberty are doing that you could find? Helping ex-cons get jobs when they get out of jail?

Well sorry, but I think that's a very good idea indeed. Ex-cons get out of jail, can't find jobs because nobody will employ them, so they fall straight back into committing more crime.

Don't you want to live in a society with less crime?

And library books in jails? Seriously? You don't like the idea of prisoners being able to open a book and maybe expand their minds a little?

Liberty do a lot of good work.

I think it incredibly stupid to allow all criminals automatic rights to get gifts of books. The books themselves are held together with glue: which can be removed heated and snift as a drug, drugs could easily be hidden in the materials for the binding and even in the glue which holds them together, a weapon could be concealed in a large enough book, even black powder can be concealed within the book(gun powder). For this reason I don't think that packages of books should be an automatic right for prisoners.

Today the British government made it legal for MI5: spy agency which spies upon its own people of uk: to spy on our telephone calls and emails. Congratulations Liberty! OK they were doing it anyway, but surely if the organisation is anything other than a way of the UK to get information, co-ordinate and get spies and spying in other countries, then it should hav been able to stop that. It's all a load of boll#cks, it isnt there to help people Liberty is there to help keep people down and under control.
