Darpa Brain Chips to Implant False Memories

If you can erase memories just think how dangerous such thing can be. Basically you can implant anyone in this world without there consent and they won't remember a thing then they would pretty much be your slave.
Basically you can do whatever you want to this person and she won't be able to remember anything.

If they could be here now, they'd be saddened by how primitive and uncontrolled we're. Uncivilized. Uneducated. Disordered. Diseased. The only thing stopping them from thinking we're animals is we're them.

Would they really be saddened by what they'd find here in our time?

Or would they be saddened by what they themselves had in fact engineered out of the human condition, and they had lost for millennia?

Sad possibly, but i would imagine they'd be more melancholy than sad.

We're Human beings..holding and experiencing everything and every emotion that taken as a whole makes us able to call ourselves Human. To lose that irrevocably, because of some arrogant and conceited view of an unnatural and artificial perfection would be something to feel sad about IMO.

As for DARPA Manchurian candidate brain chips...it's a slippery slope to totalitarianism.

People have asked 'Would the military fire on innocent civillians in some dark and sinister coup or takeover by some group of hidden elites, or would they remain true to their collective Oaths and instead protect the people of their respective countries and fire on those who are ordering them to comit treason and genocide?' Or words to that effect.

The consensus is generally that no, they would not fire on innocent civillians, at least not in the numbers required for a total takeover of a country the size of the USA for example. The rationale being the soldiers would be too honorable, too much compassion for the innocent, too honest and upstanding Human beings to commit genocidal murder.

But...with these chips implanted?

Military Brain chip implantation would probably be ushered in under the premise of a 'Matrix style' fast tracked learning programme for soldiers, similar to the way you could directly upload a program to take a complete novice pilot, to a veteran helicopter pilot instantly, like in the movie.

Other programs could include a weapons specialist, or a covert agent able to speak several languages like a native and have mastery of any nations local history and customs, or a demolitions expert, or able to operate any vehicle, any piece of hardware and technology instantly, just by uploading the relevant program to the implanted brain chip.

These would be attractive benefits for the military of course, and this is probably exactly where the research is heading...but what if someone decided to upload..a different program?

A program that stifled morality, duty, honor and empathy? A program that erased the memory of nation, of citizenship, of family and of the oath taken to preserve those things? And in their place installed one program that contained essentially one command..OBEY ALL COMMANDS WITHOUT QUESTION?

I don't think any oath or indeed anything else would prevent our armed forces, or any one of us come to that, from carrying out a genocidal massacre at the whims of whomever controlled such a programme in that case...do you?

you know X I bet their are quite a few on here that truly believe they already have been chipped and someone is controlling them remotely. I've encountered one or two myself. Just the nature of the site I guess

Just One Question? Why Do They Want To Create False Memories?

It can also be said that with an overload of Lies, Misdirection, Propaganda, ect. We already have a False history in many senses. How people can't see we are self destructing on a epic scale is beyond me. If there are any human beings left in 30 years they'll be only part human.

Simply because our fictional perception of reality is a whole lot easier to manipulate and deal with than the real reality of our situation, which is that as a species we are probably already on the downward slope to extinction.

People will always require hope, false or otherwise. So implantation or removal of memories seems like the next logical step in there bag of control constructs.
